What is a Mikvah ?

A Mikvah is a ritual purification, it is Jewish tradition.

6-23-22

Leviticus 15-6 And he that sitteth on anything whereon he sat that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

Leviticus 11-36 Nevertheless a fountain or pit, wherein there is plenty of water, shall be clean: but that which toucheth their carcass shall be unclean.

You also need to be made pure after menstruation, after having a baby, after touching a sick person, after touching a dead body. Most men use the Mikvah every Friday afternoon. There are many many reasons to purify yourself. If you are unclean, you cannot go to the tabernacle and worship. You must purify yourself first.

If there is a drought, you cannot worship! Wow!

Umm so we are dirty and we need to be made clean.

Let’s just talk about this water.

Genesis 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

While the earth was without form and void before creation, the spirit of God moved on the face of the water?

Water existed before the rest of the world was created. In the beginning there was God and there was water. I know, I know.  John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. So He made the water first. Just stay with me here.

Genesis 1:6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

Genesis 1:7 And God made the firmament and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

Now we have under water and above water.

Genesis 1:9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

Then He takes the underwater and gathered it together.

Genesis 1:10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering (mikvah) together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

God is rearranging the water because He is making space for something else. Two different things can’t be in the same place at the same time. So, God had to make space for the air and dry land. So God causes the water to recede. That contracted body of water is called a mikvah.

So, when you enter a mikvah you are leaving man’s world and entering God’s world. You will find God there. A mikvah needs to be filled with under water (groundwater) or above water (rainwater). No tap waters. However, it is not the the water that purifies you. This water is just a symbol, it is the means. It is because this is where you encounter God.

However the ocean and rivers are Kosher!

Why is this water so important? It is much like amniotic fluid. This water must be perfect to support new life.  Psamls 91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of El-Elyon shall abide under the shadow of El-Shaddi.

During Jesus time there were many stepped pools, used for purification. Archaeology has discovered them all over Jerusalem and Quamran. Archaeology has also found many chalk vessels near the  immersion pools.

Nowadays there are mikvahs in the basement of big synagogues. You cannot use a bucket to fill it. Because man cannot tamper with the water.

Psalm 29:3

The voice of the LORD = Yahweh

Is upon the waters: the God = 410 – 352 – 193 = Almighty God = El Shaddai

of glory = heavy riches

thundereth: the LORD = Yahweh

is upon many waters.

That says,

The voice of Yahweh is upon the waters: El Shaddai of heavy riches thundereth: Yahweh is upon many waters.

That is waters plural. So I can baptize you in the swimming pool!

When the warm waters of the mikvah envelop you the stress, self-consciousness, sadness all melt away. Mikvah is silent, sensory, dream-like. This is a soul cleansing.

We did it. My friends came to my house and we went down to the pool. We pushed one of my friends in a wheelchair. When she got there she said, “help me up! Help me into the water.” We were surprised because we thought she would just watch. But she wanted this God experience. Another lady had on a long dress and she didn’t want to get in the pool. But she said,” Can you just pour the water on my head? “We did. You see God will meet you where you are. God will come to your level. And God was there. It was a very beautiful experience.

Sanctification

Sanctify, Hebrew 6942 in Strongs, prim root, be clean, consecrate, dedicate, hallow, holy, keep, prepare, proclaim, purify

Sanctify, Greek 37 in Strongs, make holy, purify, consecrate mentally, hallow, be holy. From 40 sacred, pure, blameless, most holy

1 Thessalonians 5: 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Thessalonians 5:24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

What does sanctify mean?

Justified is for your spirit, Sanctified is for you soul and glorified is for your body.

1 Corinthians 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption

That says, God made Christians, wise, righteous and sanctifies us, and this will redeem us.

Wisdom, righteousness and sanctification are all for the soul.

2 Thessalonians 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth.

Now that says you have been chosen for salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and Truth. Now I thought sanctification was for the Soul?

1 Peter 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ; Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

That also said that sanctification is for the Spirit.

Ephesians 5: 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word

That says the word will sanctify you.

Corinthians 6:11 but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

That says you are washed in your body, or maybe your Soul is washed.

St. John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

That agrees with Ephesians 5:26.

Leviticus 20:7&8 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the Lord your God. 8 And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the Lord which sanctify you.

In conclusion, Santification is for the Spirit, Soul and Body. It is purification.

Jesus turned the water into wine

6-23-22

We now know that when John the Baptist baptized Jesus in the Jordan river, he didn’t dunk him. He used a chalk vessel and poured the water over his head. Chalk is a soft stone. It is carved. This is not pottery. No one would use these for eating or drinking because chalk dust would get on the food or drink. Just wouldn’t taste good and be gritty.

So Jesus went to the wedding in Galilee. This is where Jesus turned the water into wine.

Mary his mother was there and so were all his brothers. Mary was very upset when she realized that they had run out of wine, and she said Jesus do something. You see Jesus was her oldest son. According to Biblical Archaeology Review magazine, as the custom of that time period, the wedding feast was paid for by the groom’s family.  Therefore, I believe that the groom was Jesus biological brother. Mary would not have said or done anything if she wasn’t a key figure at the wedding. When they ran out of something she would have smiled politely and not made a bid deal about it. But she did make a big deal about it, so I believe it was one of her son’s that was getting married.

And Jesus said, no I won’t do anything. Jesus was having a good time at the wedding, and he didn’t want to leave the wedding and go into town and buy more wine. And he didn’t want to ask any friends or servants to leave either. So he said, my time has not yet come. But then after some thought and prayer, Jesus saw that there was another answer. Just turn the water into wine and Jesus wouldn’t have to leave. John 2:1 – 10, Matthew 22:2 & 25:10, Luke 12:36 & 14:8

John 2:1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: 2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage. 3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, they have no wine. 6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.

Firkin – Strongs 3355 = a standard measure, from 3354 to measure, from 3358, a measure.

We don’t know how big this measure is, only that it is a unit of measure.

If you get sickness in the pot and it is a clay pottery pot you have to break the pot. Not so for a stone chalk pot. It will not hold sickness. It is pure.

We have found that chalk is a neutral. It is a base. If you have too much staomach acid, it will help. It pulls toxins.

What were those purifying pots doing there? you. The bride and the groom were purified before the wedding. There were 6 pots. Three for the bride and three for the groom.

The servants knew that it was taboo to use these pots for food or drink. John 2:9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom. 10 And saith unto him, every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

And it was good.

When John baptized Jesus (this was a ritual purification), he used a chalk vessel. He used one hand and poured the water over Jesus’s head. Small pot. If John used a huge pot, he might knock you out on accident!  At the wedding there was three pots each. Makes six pots.

At the wedding they were small pots. Didn’t matter. They didn’t run out. Wine is a symbol for the Holy Spirit, and His is never ending.

The chalk vessel was carved from a chalk rock or stone. 1 Corinthians 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

The chalk vessel was carved from Christ!

Under the cloud and all passed through the sea

1 Corinthians 10:1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 2. And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3. And did all eat the same spiritual meat; 4. And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of the spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. 5. But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. 6. Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. 11. Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

The moral here is that even though they experienced a wonderful saving baptism, it didn’t make a lasting change.

P.S. Robin Bullock (a modern-day prophet) prophesied that the Choctaw tribe (native American) (pronounced Chalk tall) will expose voter fraud. We use a chalk vessel in purification. Isn’t that interesting?

what did John say when he baptized Jesus

What did John say when he baptized Jesus

6-29-22

First of all, why do we baptize? Answer, because we were told to.

The Great Commission

Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

When you study baptism in the Greek there are two words. Baptizo and bapto. The clearest example that shows the meaning of baptiso is a text from the Greek poet and physician Nicander, who lived about 200 B.C. It is a recipe for making pickles and is helpful because it uses both words. Nicander says  that in order to make a pickle, the vegetable should first be ‘dipped’ (bapto) into boiling water and then ‘baptised’ (baptizo) in the vinegar solution. Both verbs concern the immersing of vegetables in a solution. But the first change is temporary. The second, the act of baptizing the vegetable, produces a permanent change. When used in the New Testament, this word more often refers to our union and identification with Christ than to our water baptism. For example. Mark 16:16 ‘He that believes and is baptized shall be saved’. Christ is saying that mere intellectual assent is not enough. There must be a union with him, a real change. Like the vegetable to the pickle! Bible Study Magazine, James Montgomery Boice, May 1989.

The moral here is that even though they experienced a wonderful saving baptism, it didn’t make a lasting change.

Pickles are so funny! I don’t know why.

We believe that when John baptized Jesus, he did it by pouring from purification pots as was the custom of those days.

The first pour is, for the priesthood. We die in proxy for and with the saints who have gone on before us, the dead. Including Jesus Christ being the firstfruits of the dead. 1 Corinthians 15:20 We raise in proxy for them. We raise in power.

1 Corinthians 15:29 Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead if the dead don’t raise? Why did they bother getting baptized for the dead?

Ummmm I wonder what the context was for that. Let’s look and see if we can make more sense of that.

1 Corinthians chapter 15, paraphrased:

Verse 3. Christ died for our sins. 4. He was buried and rose again. 5. He was seen of the 12. 6.  He was seen of 500 people. 7. He was seen of James. 8. He was seen of me, Paul. 12. We all preach He rose. How can some of you say there is no resurrection of the dead. (Sadducees don’t believe in resurrection of the dead) 13. So if there is no resurrection of the dead, then wasn’t Christ risen? 15. Yep, Then all those people who witnessed him are liars. 16. If the dead don’t raise then neither did Christ. 20.  Now Christ rose from the dead and became the firstfruits of the dead. 21.  Death came by man (Adam) resurrection of the dead came by man. (Christ) 22. In Adam all die, in Christ all be made alive. 23. Christ the firstfruits, after that at Christ coming. 24. Then the end comes, when He gives the kingdom to the Father God, when He shall put down all rule and all authority and power. 25. For He must reign, till he puts all enemies under his feet. 26. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 29. Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead if the dead don’t raise? Why did they bother getting baptized for the dead? 32. If I fought beasts, what did I gain? If the dead don’t raise? So let’s eat and drink because tomorrow we die. 33. Don’t be deceived, evil communication corrupt good manners. 45. Adam was a living soul, the last Adam a quickening spirit. 51. A mystery, we shall all be changed. 52. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump, for the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 54. Death is swallowed up in victory. 55. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56. The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57. But thank you Jesus Christ! 58. Keep on, your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Paul was trying to teach the Sadducees about the resurrection. When we die with them, it somehow makes it easier for them to raise again.

This might be a rehearsal.

The second pour is, for the prophets. We are baptized into one body, the body of Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free, and have all made to drink into one Spirit.

I was thinking about the school of the prophets, and I remembered that one time I went to an IMAX movie. I watched schools of fish move in the water, when they turned around, they all did it at the same time. They did not follow each other. It was not like a chorus line. They moved in unison. They explained that fish have another organ that people don’t have. I have prayed that God would give me that organ so that we can move as the body of Christ as one body. But it won’t help unless we all get that organ. Anyways, now I see that we will all be fish but not necessarily the same kind of fish. There will be whales, dolphins, neon tetra, Nimos, oh clown fish, lol, trout, bass, muskie, minows, etc. All moving as one fish.

Isaiah 52:8  Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye. When the LORD (Yahweh) shall bring again Zion.

You see that says that the body of Christ will behave as one body.

As Lance Wallnau says, “As One”. We are one body of soldiers, just like in the movie “Gladiator”.

Corinthians chapter 12, paraphrased:

Concerning spiritual gifts, don’t be stupid. 2. Gentiles got carried away with dumb idols. 3. No man can say that Jesus is Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. 4. There are different gifts but the same spirit. 5. There are different administrations, but the same Lord 6.  There are different operations, but the same God. 7. The manifestation of the Spirit is given to profit everyone. 8. One is given wisdom, another knowledge, by the same spirit. 9. Another faith, another healing, by the same spirit. 10. Another miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, tongues, interpretation 11. They all work by the same spirit 12. One body, many members, being many, one body, same with Christ. 13. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, bond or free, all have been made to drink into one Spirit. 14. For the body is not one member, but many. 15. The foot can’t say I am not of the body. 17. If the whole body were an eye, then where is the hearing? Or if the whole were the hearing, then where is the smelling? 18. God set every member in the body, as pleases Him. 20. Many members, one body. 22. The more feeble members are necessary. 23.  We bestow more abundant honor on the less honorable and more comeliness on the uncomely. 24. Pretty parts have no need, God put the body together, giving more honor to the part that lacked. 25. There should be no schism in the body, everyone should care for each other equally. 27. You are the body of Christ. 28. God put in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, healing, helps, governments, tongues 29. Are all apostles, prophets, teachers, miracle workers 30. Healings, tongues, interpretation? 31. Covet the best gifts. And I will shew you a more excellent way.

This may also be helpful when looking at the circumcision of the heart. Colossians 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

Here we use the Holy Spirit to save our Soul.

The third pour is for the Kings. God makes an oath. This is for Body Salvation.

Hebrews 7:21 For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord (El Elyon) sware and will not repent, Thou are a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. 6:17 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: 18. That by two immutable (unchangeable) things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: 19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; 20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even after the order of Melchisedec.

Our forerunner is Jesus.

Hope is for body salvation.

We are priests, prophets, and kings. We shall be baptized in all 3 offices and have the responsibilities of all three.

So let’s recap. Here is what we say at the first pour, This is for the priests. We die in proxy for the dead. We raise in proxy for them. We raise in power. Christ being the firstfruits of the dead. Spirit salvation.

By the authority of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I now baptize you.

Here is what we say at the second pour, This is for the prophets. We are baptized into one body, the body of Christ. This is for soul salvation.

By the authority of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I now baptize you.

Here is what we say at the third pour, This is for the Kings and body salvation. God will now make an  oath that will bring you into the order of Melchisedec.

By the authority of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I now baptize you.

A theocracy is when God’s law is written in our Spirit. And our Spirit will control our Soul. This is the goal.

At this point I hope for a physical manifestation of this body. I hope immortality.

P.S. Just in Acts, Jesus followers are explained as, reasoning, arguing, persuading, examining, devating, disputing, explaining, defending, refuting, convincing, proving, but most of all persuading! Let’s go do that.

Jubilee

Written By: Bill Britton

But I have said, and will say it once more…

that our God has spoken, His voice did roar.

He will send forth a people, who are humble and plain;

He will cause them to descend as a great latter rain.

Anointed of God, to the nations they’ll go.

From the mountain of God like a River they’ll flow.

They are sealed by His Spirit, marked as His own;

They speak with authority, for they sit in His throne.

They have not sought for escape, nor a flight to the sky.

But in the realms of the Spirit, they’ve ascended so high.

They have no reason to fear, nor a cause for dread.

There is hope for all, for even the dead.

For those in the graves shall hear the voice of the Son,

Shall arise and know that He is the One.

There is one Over-comer, one Son, and one King.

When this truth breaks upon you, it’ll cause you to sing.

You are bone of His bones, and you are one with the Head;

His image you’ll bear, and Adam you’ll shed.

Well, Glory to God, don’t you see what I mean?

The filth is all gone, and now you are clean.

Holy and pure, as the Father above;

His commandment fulfilled, because of His love.

You see, I speak as a prophet of the Jubilee year.

It’s not far off, but I declare it is near.

Be ready, be ready, oh dear friend of mine;

His glory is rising, upon you to shine.

The night is far spent, a new day is breaking;

The darkness is fleeing, hell’s gates are now shaking.

The demonic hordes are trembling in fear,

God’s Army is rising, His coming is near.

Rejoice I say, rejoice every one,

for the sound that you hear is the voice of the Son.

He marches to battle; He knows no defeat;

His Army is great, and the victory is sweet.

Every enemy of God shall go down in the fray,

Every pain, every sorrow shall vanish that Day.

He’ll prove Himself a wise God to be,

And He’ll do it on earth that creation might see.

Out of sin He hath called me,

His word to declare;

Those who believe His glory will share.

Hallelujah!

Jehoshaphat = Afghanistan

Why are we having this lesson?

Psalms 78:9-11

The children of Ephraim, being armed, and carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle. 10 They kept not the covenant of God, and refused to walk in his law; 11 And forgat his works, and his wonders that he had shewed them.

The children of Ephraim were going into battle and they got scared. They forgot how God had won battles for them in the past.

We must remember God’s victories from the past. This gives us the faith to win. This is a testimony.

What is the battle of Jehoshophat?

Joel 3:1-3 = Human trafficking

For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, 2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land. 3 And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.

They sold a boy for prostitution, and sold a girl so they could drink. If you look up that drink in the Strong’s Concordance it means a strong potion. I submit for your analysis that strong drink was taken from the girl’s body. I believe this is referring to adrenochrome.

The battle of Jehoshophat is Human trafficking.

Before we get started let’s lay some groundwork.

10 tribes, in the North, Israel, King Ahaziah (at that time)

2 tribes, in the South, Judah, Jerusalem, King Jehoshophat (at that time)

Please note (at that time) Jerusalem was in the South, while Israel was in the North. That will trip you up if you don’t watch it. Now Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. It wasn’t then.

How did the battle of Jehoshaphat go? 2 Chronicles 20

It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle. 2 Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they be in Hazazontamar, which is Engedi. 3 And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.

Just a note here in 2020 everyone was fasting. They were fasting in Texas, Georgia, California, Pennsylvania, etc. Some were fasting for 2 days, 3 days, 5 days, 7 days, 21 days, 30 days and even 40 days. Well we did it! We did a good job. We don’t need to do that again, unless personally called by God to do so.

4 And Judah gathered them selves together, to ask help of the LORD: even out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the LORD.

5 And Jehoshaphat stood in the congregation of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the LORD, before the new court,

Now Jehoshophat prays, let’s join him in prayer.

6 And said, O LORD God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? And rulest not thou over all the Kingdoms of the heather? And in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to winthstand thee? 7 Art not thou our God, who didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest it to the seed of Abraham thy friend for ever? 8 And they dwelt therein, and have built thee a sanctuary therein for thy name, saying,

We in American have built Him a Sanctuary. Let’s go to Washington DC and look at the Lincoln memorial, Jerfferson memorial, Washington memorial, Arlington National Cemetary.  The entire town is filled with scripture verses engraved all over the walls of most all of the buildings, giving credit to God. Oh sure there has been some recent pollution, some very bad things have been erected and built. But the good far outweighs the bad.

9 If, when evil cometh upon us, as the sword, judgement, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house, and in thy presence, (for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction, then thou wilt hear and help. 10 And now, behold, the children of Ammon and Moab and mount Seir, whom thou wouldest not let Israel invade, when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them, and destroyed them not;

Okay everybody say, Ammon, bad guys, Moab, bad guys and Mt Seir, bad guys.

11 Behold, I say, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy possession, which thou hast given us to inherit. 12 O our God, wilt thou not judge them? For we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.

Amen. That is the end of Jehoshophat’s prayer.

13 And all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children. 14 Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the LORD in the midst of the congration; 15 And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s. 16 To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel. 17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you. 18 And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the LORD, worshipping the LORD.

They lay prostrate as they worshiped.

19 And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the LORD God of Iarael with a loud voice on high.

So these guys stood up to praise the LORD. Point is, it doesn’t matter how you worship and praise, just do it.

20 And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. 21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever. 22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.

The way to fight is to praise and worship. (sing)

23 For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them:

Ammon and Moab fought against mount Seir.

23 And when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.

Then Ammon and Moab destroyed each other!!!

24 And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped. 25 And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much. 26 And on the fourth day they assembled themselves in the valley of Berachah; for there they blessed the LORD: therefore the name of the same place was called, The valley of Berachah, unto this day.

Berachah as in Obama. This gives us a time frame. I think Human trafficking got more prevalent during the reign of Berachah.

27 Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat in the forefront of them, to go again to Jerusalem with joy; for the LORD had made them to rejoice over their enemies. 28 And they come to Jerusalem with psalteries and harps and trumpets unto the house of the LORD. 29 And the fear of God was on all the kingdoms of those countries, when they had heard that the LORD fought against the enemies of Israel. 30 So the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet: for his God gave him rest round about. 31 And Jehoshaphat reigned over Judah: he was thirty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi. 32 And he walked in the way of Asa his father, and departed not from it, doing that which was right in the sight of the LORD. 33 Howbeit the high places were not taken away: for as yet the people had not prepared their hearts unto the God of their fathers. 34 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Jehu the son of Hanani, who is mentioned in the book of the kings of Israel. 35 And after this did Jehoshaphat king of Judah join himself with Ahaziah king of Israel, who did very wickedly:

Remember Ahaziah was the king of the Northern 10 tribes. It was a logical thing to do. But…. Jehoshaphat did not ask God first. And it was a mistake.

36 And he joined himself with him to make ships to go to Tarshish: and they made the ships in Eziongeber. 37Then Eliezer the son of Dodavah of Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying, Because thou hast joined thyself with Ahaziah, the LORD hath broken thy works. And the ships were broken, that they were not able to go to Tarshish.

Look at the picture below:

God had to put Biden in office, so that he would leave our weapons behind. Because God had a plan. God can see the bigger picture. You see God really is in control.

MOAB 2 Chronicles 20: 9 remember these are the bad guys. MOAB is the acronym for Massive Ordnance Air Blast, Mother Of All Bombs. This bomb was designed by the United States Air Force, for the Afghanistan war. This bomb is let down with a parachute and a GPS. When it blast this air with such force, it levels buildings. It does not destroy the land like a nuke. You can go there the next day.

Ammon 2 Chronicles 20:9 remember these are the bad guys. Ammon is the acronym for Ammoniated, to combine or impregnate with ammonia or an ammonium compound.

If you add bleach to ammonia, you have mustard gas.

The Soviets used mustard gas in Afghanistan

SIER 2 Chronicles 20:9 remember these are the bad guys. SEIR is the acronym for Simulating International Economic Relations

Simulating = Fake, International, money, relations. = Fake money.

Matt 17:20 If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Mt Seir = the (fake money) will be removed by Moab (the bomb) and Ammon (Mustard Gas).

So my sister and I thought, all  letters must have an acronym. So we tried different combinations of letters. Not all letters have acronyms. But these do. Thanks Rosie.

I was talking to my brother on the phone. I was sharing this lesson with him, and I told him I don’t know what the spoils are but it will take us 3 days to gather them. He said, Oh I know what the spoils are!! Thanks Mike.

Afghanistan possesses a wealth of nonfuel minerals whose value has been estimated at more than US$1 trillion. For millennia the country was renowned for its gemstones – rubies, emeralds, tourmalines and lapis lazuli. These minerals continue to be locally extracted, both legally and illegally, in mostly small, artisanal mines. Far more value, however, lies with the country’s endowments of iron, copper, lithium, rare earth elements, cobalt, bauxite, mercury, uranium and chromium.

We will be 3 days collecting the spoils.

Afghanistan is the world’s largest producer of opium, according to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

Its opium harvest accounts for more than 80% of the world’s supply.

In 2018 the UNODC estimated opium production contributed up to 11% of the country’s economy.

 International Organization for Migration

The Head of IOM’s Counter Trafficking Department, Richard Danziguer, tells us there is a link between various forms of organized crime, such as the illegal drug trade and human trafficking.

“When there is criminal activity, especially drug trafficking, weapon trafficking, often we will find there is a link to human trafficking as well,” he said. “And, then some people actually are forced into working for the opium godfathers, if you will, working as practically slave labor in the fields cultivating the poppy.”

According to the 2006 State Department Report on Trafficking in Persons, Afghanistan is a source country for women and children.

The IOM says children are trafficked within the country to work as beggars or as bonded labor in the brick kiln and carpet making industries. It says women and girls are kidnapped or sold for forced marriages. They are pushed into prostitution and sometimes used to settle debts or to resolve conflicts.

Internationally, IOM says Afghan women and girls are being trafficked primarily to Iran, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia.

The battle of Jehoshaphat is Afaganistan. This is when God is going to stop Human trafficking. God is going to stop the illegal drug opium trade. We will be 3 days collecting the spoils. You see right now those spoils are mined by children. Those children will be released when we come in with big LeTourneau like mining equipment and mine in a more efficient, better and bigger way. There is a lot there for us. Enough to share!! All we have to do is (like Jehoshaphat) stand still and praise God and we will see the salvation of God!!!

Summary: There are many more verses for this study. These are just a few that I chose

“Blessing or Curse” By: Derek Prince | BOOK REPORT

BOOK REPORT Written By: Diane Ebaugh Sutton | First Published 2018

Numbers 23:30 Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.

A curse can be a barrier to keep people from receiving healing. And a curse had kept me from the level of prosperity that God had intended for me. (Derek)

2 Corinthians  4: 17 – 18 But the things that are not seen are eternal.

Proverbs 26:2 A curse without a cause shall not alight.

Someone or something put that curse there. It is helpful to discover the cause.

In most cases, it is necessary to deal with the occult involvement and to revoke the curse before demons can be driven out.

The corresponding phrases from Deuteronomy 28 are, plague with diseases; consumption or wasting disease; fever; inflammation; boils; tumors; scabs or sores; itch; blindness; sickness.

This list creates what might be called the atmosphere of a curse. They suggest evil forces at work.

Sometimes it is sufficient to revoke the curse, without any specific prayer for healing. And the healing will come.

Malachi 4:5&6 And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.

The most urgent social problem is the outworking of a curse. It comes between husbands and wives, parents and children, brothers and sisters. Its goal is the destruction of the family.

The tap root is what links many generations to worship false Gods. This brings on generational curses.

Matthew 15:13 Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.

Two of the strongest cravings are the desire for knowledge and the desire for power. If a man is not satisfied he will turn to supernatural sources, and becomes entrapped in the occult.

Deuteronomy 27:15-26  On the mountains of Ebal and Gerizim half of the tribes would invoke a blessing on all Israelite’s who were obedient. Then the other six tribes would invoke a curse on all who were disobedient. To both the blessing and the curse, all the people were required to respond, Amen! Some of the curses were: Acknowledging and worshiping false gods. Others were:

Disrespect for parents.

All forms of oppressions and injustice.

All forms of illicit or unnatural sex.

All forms of disobedience to the Law.

Disrespect for parents brings God’s curse.

Galatians 3:1-10  Trusting in the works of the law (legalism) and making flesh our strength (carnality) culminate in a curse.

Legalism is just as deadly as other; less respectable sins.

Galatians 1:6-9  If anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. The Greek word translated accursed is anathema. It means something that provokes God’s wrath.

Blessing and cursing can never be separated from one another, any more than heat from cold, or day from night.

Jacob reacted indignantly to Laban’s accusation of theft. Genesis 31:32  If you find anyone who has your gods, he shall not live. The words of Jacob’s curse, was a death sentence on the one who stole them, Rachel. Shortly afterward, she died in childbirth.

Daily confess; Galatians 3:13-14 Through the sacrificial offering of Christ on the cross I have been purchased out from under the curse and have entered into the blessings of Abraham, whom God blessed in all things.

The significance of a ring is that it often symbolizes a covenant relationship. By biblical standards, a covenant is the most solemn and powerful form of relationship. Therefore Satan exploits covenant relationships in order to gain the strongest possible control over the people.

Titus 3:2 Paul says to speak evil of no one. The phrase no one applies to believers or unbelievers. The Greek verb translated to speak evil is from the word blaspheme. The sin of blaspheme includes not only evil words spoken against God, but also evil words spoken against our fellow human beings. Such language is forbidden to Christians.

James 4:11 Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. The word here translated to speak evil is katalalo, which means to speak against. We are not to speak against fellow believers at all- even if what we say about them is true. This sin is not speaking falsely but speaking against.

I bound the satanic forces at work against me, I loosed myself from the effect of my friend’s words about me. The pain in my abdomen ceased. (Derek)

Matthew 7:1-2 Jesus says, Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgement you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. The verb translated to judge is derived from critic and criticize.

A different kind of situation arises when we are legally obligated to serve as a witness. No one can, be at the same time both a witness and a judge. In this situation we are not filling the role of a judge, but of a witness.

God has not provided many different solutions for the many problems of mankind. Instead there is one solution. The cross of Jesus.

Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Here is the basic problem of humanity. There are sins that many of us have never committed, murder, adultery, theft and so on. But, we have all turned to our own way. The Hebrew word here is avon, here translated iniquity. This is the cause for the curses.

The Divine Exchange!

Christians often limit salvation to the experience of having one’s sins forgiven and being born again. However it is only the first part.

*Isaiah 53:6 The Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. Jesus identified with our iniquity and also endured all the evil consequences of that iniquity. He carried them away so that they might never return again upon us. Now God offers us all the good that was due to the sinless obedience of Jesus.

*Jesus was punished that we might be forgiven. Jesus was wounded that we might be healed.

*Jesus was made sin with our sinfulness that we might become righteous with His righteousness.

*Jesus died our death that we might share His life.

*Jesus became poor with our poverty that we might become rich with His riches.

A man who can provide a meal for five thousand men plus women and children certainly would not be considered poor by normal standards! Matthew 14:15-21

Jesus exemplified abundance. He always had all that He needed. He was continually giving out to others, and His supply was never exhausted. So when did Jesus become poor for our sakes? On the cross. Deuteronomy 28:8 Moses summed up absolute poverty, hunger, thirst, nakedness and need of all things. Jesus experienced all this on the cross.

*Jesus bore our shame that we might share His glory.

*Jesus endured our rejection that we might have His acceptance as children of God.

*The shame Jesus endured on the cross has opened the way to be released from our own shame.

*The rejection of Jesus resulted in our acceptance.

Matthew 27:46, 50 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? That is, My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?….Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.

* God rejected His own Son. Jesus died not of the wounds of crucifixion, but of a broken heart.

*Jesus became a curse that we might receive a blessing.

Galatians 3:13-14 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

There is no need resulting from man’s rebellion that is not covered by the same principal of exchange. The evil came upon Jesus that the good might be offered to us. Now you must lay hold of this principle to meet that special need in your life: release from the curse.

Just before He expired, there came one final, triumphant cry: It is finished! In the Greek It is finished, means It is completely complete or It is perfectly perfect.

*Giving Thanks is the first step to release.

Jesus had taken upon Himself every evil consequence brought upon humanity. That we might receive every blessing. Such a sacrifice is stupendous in its scope, yet marvelous in its simplicity. If you are living under a curse, Jesus has made full provision for your release. Your response is to say, Thank You!

Salvation includes the total human personality, spirit, soul and body and it is consummated only by the resurrection of the body at the return of Christ. It is normal to progress by stages. Many Christians never go beyond receiving forgiveness of their sins. They are not aware of the many other provisions that are freely available to them.

A person may seek physical healing, not knowing that the root of his physical sickness is an inner emotional problem. In response, God will move to bring the emotional healing that is needed. If the person does not open himself up to this, but continues to beg for physical healing, he may in the end receive no healing at all, either physical or emotional.

A curse over a person’s life is the barrier that holds him back from the other provisions of salvation.

Deuteronomy 30:19 This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.

Like Israel, we determine our destiny by the choice we make. Our choice may also affect the destiny of our descendants. God is waiting for you to choose. Not to choose is, in effect to make the wrong choice.

*The response: Lord, on the basis of Your Word, I make my response. I refuse death and the curses, and I choose life and blessings.

Confess your faith in Christ and in His sacrifice on your behalf.

The word confess means to say the same as. Confession means saying with our mouth what God has already said in His Word.

Hebrews 3:1 Jesus is called the High Priest of our confession. When we make confession, it releases His priestly ministry on our behalf.

*Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that You are the Son of God and the only way to God, and that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead.

Repent of all your rebellion and your sins.

Mark 1:15 Without repentance, no effective faith is possible.

*I give up all my rebellion and all my sin, and I submit myself to You as my Lord.

Claim forgiveness of all sins.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

*I confess all my sins before You and ask for Your forgiveness especially for any sins that exposed me to a curse. Release me also from the consequences of my ancestors’ sins.

Forgive all other people who have ever harmed you or wronged you.

Forgiving is not ab emotion; it is a decision.

You have in your hand IOUs from another person that total $10,000. In heaven, God has in His hand IOUs from you to Him in the amount of $10,000,000. God makes you an offer: You tear up the IOUs in your hand, and I’ll tear up the IOUs in Mine. On the other hand, if you hold onto your IOUs , I’ll hold onto Mine!

*By a decision of my will, I forgive all who have harmed me or wronged me-just as I want God to forgive me. In particular, I forgive….

Renounce all contact with anything occult or satanic.

2 Corinthians 6:14-15 What fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial (Satan)? Therefore Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.

*I renounce all contact with anything occult or satanic-if I have any contact objects, I commit myself to destroy them. I cancel all Satan’s claims against me.

You are now ready to pray the prayer of release from any curse.

Remember, there is only one basis upon which God offers His mercy: the exchange that took place when Jesus died on the cross. Included in that exchange was provision for release from every curse. You do not have to earn your release. You do not have to be worthy.

Receiving is in the past tense; having is in the future. Receiving takes place when we pray. Then having follows.

*Lord Jesus, I believe that on the cross You took on Yourself every curse that could ever come upon me. So I ask You now to release me from every curse over my life-in Your name, Lord Jesus Christ!

*By faith I now receive my release and I thank you for it.

Now don’t stop at saying Thank You just once or twice. Your mind cannot grasp a fraction of what you have asked God to do for you, but respond to God with your heart!

Now believe that you have received, and go on in God’s blessing!

Do not try at this stage to analyze what form the blessing will take or how God will impart it to you. Leave that in God’s hands. Let Him do it just how and when He will. You do not have to concern yourself with that.

*Lord, I now open myself to receive Your blessing in every way You want to impart it to me.

*Repeat these words. Exaltation, Health, Reproductiveness, Prosperity, Victory, God’s favor.

As you repeat them, pause and thank God that each one is now part of your inheritance. Remember that giving thanks is the purest and simplest expression of faith.

Satan has some foreknowledge of what God has prepared for those who escape from his oppression. The greater the blessings in store for a person, the more determined will be Satan’s attempt to hold him back.

The sword is the sword of the Holy Spirit. If we take it the Holy Spirit will wield it. But if we do not take it, the Holy Spirit has nothing to wield.

Each of Satan’s three temptations contained the word if. In other words, it was aimed to produce doubt. Jesus countered every temptation with the same phrase: It is written. Satan has no defense against the Word of God.

Joshua 1:6,9,18 Be strong and of good courage.

The Kingdom demands forcefulness, an attitude of fixed determination that presses ahead regardless of every kind of difficulty or discouragement.

One of the first steps is a correct diagnosis of the condition. Once you understand that your life is under a curse, you will be motivated to seek the release that Jesus purchased through the exchange on the cross.

Perhaps parents realize that they have brought curses upon their children, He has a special promise in Isaiah 49:24-25

Can plunder be taken from warriors, or captives rescued from the fierce? But this is what the Lord says: Yes, captives will be taken from warriors, and plunder retrieved from the fierce; I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save.

Hebrews 3:1 Jesus is the High Priest of our confession.

In every situation we encounter, we must respond with scriptural confession in order to invoke the continuing ministry of Jesus as our High Priest. Confession is limited to the statements and promises of the Bible. It consists in saying with our mouth what God has already said in His Word. Beyond this confession cannot go. So don’t confess your sins, confess what God has already said.

Hebrews 10:21,23 And having a High Priests over the house of God… let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

It is our confession that unites us to Jesus as out High Priest and releases His priestly ministry on our behalf. The words hold fast mean, we must consistently reaffirm our original confession.

When accusations come from human enemies, the issues are clear. But when the accusations are inward, directed against the mind by demonic powers, the issue is the same: to maintain the confession of the truth with unwavering determination until those invisible forces are silenced and routed.

Psalm 118:15,17 Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous: The Lord’s right hand has done mighty things! …I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done.

Proclamation to shout aloud, implies a transition from a defensive posture to one of attack.

There is a distinction between thanksgiving and praise. We thank God for what He does; we praise Him for who He is.

Psalm 100:4 First, we enter His gates with thanksgiving; then, we pass through His courts with praise. This brings us into the immediate presence of God.

Faith begins to praise God before the promised victory, not after it.

Psalm 50:23 He who sacrifices thank offerings honors me, and he prepares the way so that I may show him the salvation of God.

Psalm 20:5 In the name of our God we will set up our banners!

Three effective banners are proclamation, thanksgiving and praise. First, we secure the blessings of God that we have proclaimed. Second, we shut out the satanic forces that would resist us and seek to withhold the blessings from us.

Hebrews 4:12 As we both speak and hear, both edges of the sword of God’s Word are at work in us simultaneously.

The mind is the main field of battle. We must be careful to recognize dependency on the Holy Spirit. Otherwise, the carnal mind can reduce these principles to a system.

Here are some proclamations:

*Galatians 3:13-14 Through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, I have passed out from under the curse and entered into the blessing of Abraham, whom God blessed in all things.

Ruth (Derek’s wife) has received release from many curses over her life, but she has a continuing battle walking it out in experience. We make this proclamation several times a day. Each time, we move further away from the effects of curses and into the blessings of inheritance.

*Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against I do now condemn. This in my heritage as a servant of the Lord, and my righteousness is from You, O Lord.

First, we ask God to condemn any tongue that speaks against us. God has given us authority to do this for ourselves. Second, our right to exercise this authority depends not on our own righteousness, but on His righteousness.

*Lord, I forgive all who have spoken evil against me, and having forgiven them, I bless them in Your name.

He instructs us to forgive those who seek to harm us, and to respond to a curse with a blessing. Blessing and forgiving, those who curse us, does not depend on our emotions. It proceeds from a firm decision of our will.

First, we condemn the tongue that has uttered the curse. Second, we forgive the person from whom the curse proceeded. Third, we ask God to bless the person.

*2 Corinthians 5:17-18 I am in Christ, and therefore I am a new creation. All those old things have passed away. Everything in my life has become new, and everything is from God. And… Revelation 21:5 *Then He who sat on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me, Write, for these words are true and faithful.

Proclaim the above when pressures of sin or guilt or unworthiness pursue us from our past.

*Psalm 118:17 I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done.

When oppressed by hopelessness and gloomy forebodings of death present themselves, Proclaim the above.

*1 Peter 2:24 Jesus Himself bore my sins in His own body on the tree, that I, having died to sins, might live for righteousness-by whose wounds I was healed.

*1 Corinthians 6:19; Ephesians 1:7; 1 John 1:7; Hebrews 13:12; Romans 6:13;8:33-34; Revelation 12:11; 1 Corinthians 6:13 My body is a temple for the Holy Spirit, redeemed, cleansed and sanctified by the blood of Jesus. My members-the parts of my body-are instruments of righteousness, presented to God for His service and for His glory. The devil has no place in me, no power over me, no unsettled claims against me. All has been settled by the blood of Jesus. I overcame Satan by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony, and I do not love my life to the death. My body is for the Lord, and Lord is for my body.

Proclaim the following when Satan attacks or home, our family, our business, our ministry, etc.

*The bolts of our gates will be iron and bronze, and our strength will equal our days. There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides on the heavens to help us and on the clouds in His majesty. The eternal God is our refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out our enemy before us, saying, destroy him!

Our gates represent our defense system. God will drive out our enemy before us. God says, destroy him! And He has given us the spiritual weapons we need to do this.

* 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 The weapons of my warfare are mighty in God. With them I pull down the strongholds that Satan has built in my mind. I bring all my thoughts into obedience to Christ. Three of my weapons are proclamation, thanksgiving and praise.

Remember, our enemies are not human beings. Our enemies are spiritual forces from Satan. From Ephesians 6:12

*Forgiving is stronger than resenting; blessing is stronger than cursing; giving thanks is stronger than complaining; praise is stronger than accusation; and loving is stronger than hating.

*I can do all things through the One who empowers me within. Philippians 4:13

God’s strength is made perfect in my weakness, and so when I am weak, then I am strong 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

*God is able to make all grace abound toward us, that we, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8

Abundance, not mere sufficiency.

*God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

*In the name of Jesus I submit to God and I resist the spirit of fear. Therefore it has to flee from me.James 4:7

Do not put your faith in your proclamation, or in any other method or procedure. Our faith must be in God alone.

Be strong and of good courage.

Jesus took upon Himself all the consequences that disobedience to God had brought upon the human race. These fall into two main categories: those brought upon Adam by his original disobedience in the Garden; and those pronounced later in connection with the Law given through Moses.

Galatians 3:13 states, Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. This relates to the fact that the Law had declared that anyone executed by hanging on a tree had- by that very fact-become a curse. This opened the way for deliverance from the curse through the sacrifice of Christ.

God pronounced a curse upon Adam and Eve in the Garden. Genesis 3:16-19 this falls into two main sections, the first spoken to Eve, and the second spoken to Adam.

Eve’s curse, Childbearing would be arduous and painful. And She would be subject to her husband’s authority and dependent upon him for her desire for children.

Adam curse, Genesis 2:15 Hard labor, thorns and thistles, and man would be subject to decay and death. These curses affected the earth itself.

The crown on Jesus’ head represented the curse of thorns; the purple color of His robe represented the curse of thistles.

Matthew 1:1-17 Traces Jesus genealogy back to Abraham. As a descendant of Abraham, Jesus was born under the law, Moses law.

Luke 3:23-38 the genealogy of Jesus is traced back to Adam. As a son of Adam, Jesus was subject to the curses.

On the cross Jesus died as the last Adam. He took upon himself all the consequences that Adam’s disobedience had brought upon the human race. When he died they were terminated. When he was buried, they were forever put away.

Then on the third day Jesus rose again from the dead as the second Man. He became the Head of an entirely new race-the Immanuel race. The God-man race, a race in which the nature of God and man are blended together in a new creation.

Jesus on the cross was made a curse in order to cancel every curse on man and on creation. Revelation 22:3 And there shall be no more curse.

Matthew 21:21 Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree… In other words, He gave them authority to pronounce curses.

When blessings are offered, but rejected, curses inevitably follow. The same applies to those who have the Gospel with its blessings proclaimed to them, but deliberately and consciously reject it. They expose themselves to corresponding curses.

Acts 13:9-12 Then Paul, FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT, looked intently at him and said, O full of all deceit and all fraud, thou son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord? And now, indeed, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time. And immediately a dark mist fell on him, and he went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand. Then the proconsul believed, when he saw what had been done, being astonished at the teaching of the Lord.

Paul was filled with the Holy Spirit. His words were not the product of his own fleshly reaction to opposition, but represented God’s sovereign judgment on the sorcerer, uttered by the Holy Spirit. The proconsul was so impressed that he became a believer.

James 3:8 But no man can tame the tongue.

Psalm 141:3 Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips.

Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.

Did Ananias & Sapphire die because they lied about the money?

Acts 5:1 (KJV) But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphire his wife, sold a possession,

  1. And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles‘ feet. 3. But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, AND to keep back part of the price of the land? 4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. 5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. 6. And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him. 7  And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.  8. And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. 9. Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. 10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband. 11 And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

Did Ananias and Sapphire die because they lied about the money?

No. Verse 3 has the key word, AND. They died because they acted like they were Christians, when they were not.

Let me explain:

Peter and the apostles had a commune. Everyone lived together and they had one common purse. Acts 4:33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. To be a part of this commune you had to believe in the resurrection of Jesus.

Law verses Grace:

John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. John 5:45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.

Jesus fulfilled all the law, because of that we are under grace. The law is not disregarded, it was completed. If you go back now and put yourself under the law, it belittles the cross. If you put yourself under the law you will die. To receive salvation you must live under grace. The unpardonable sin is lying about your belief in the resurrection. If you believe in the resurrection, then you are under grace.

The law brings Death.

How was it that everyone in that commune lived in great grace? But when Ananias and Sapphira tried to join, they got law and death?  Ananias and Sapphira did not believe in the resurrection, this put them under the law. And when they lied about the money they got law and therefore death. Interesting side note, Sapphira comes from the word Sapphire. It is said that the 2 tablets of stone, containing the 10 commandments that Moses brought down from the Mountain were written on  Sapphire stone. This is a confirmation, that she was under the law.

Romans 7:7-9 what shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. 8. But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead. 9. For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.

They were Jews, therefore under the law.  If they had believed in the resurrection of Jesus, they would have received grace. They died because they were imposters of Christians and God knew they were not true believers. The lie about the money, is what got them caught in their lie, about their belief in the resurrection.

Question? Revelation 21:8 says all liars have their place in the Lake of fire. Answer: This is the second death. Not the first death.

Punch Line.

You can lie about your age, the color of your hair, your weight, what you got your spouse for Christmas, If you got the shot or not, even about your finances. Lying about your finances is just as silly as lying about the color of your hair. Just don’t lie about your belief in the resurrection.

1 Corinthians 15:12-14 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say we among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

A requirement to take Judas place, was to have witnessed the resurrection. Acts1:22 Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.

Simon wanted to buy the Holy Ghost. Acts 8:22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.

Peter told Simon that he would die. Acts 8:20, But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

Because your heart is not right in the sight of God Acts 8:21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.

The 7 sons of Sceva used the name of the Lord Jesus and Paul to exorcise evil spirits Acts 19:13 &14. Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. 14. And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.

The evil spirits didn’t know them Acts 19:15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?

The 7 sons of Sceva were attacked. It didn’t work Acts 19:16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

You see the 7 sons of Sceva didn’t believe in the resurrection.

Before the cock crew, Peter denied Jesus 3 times. Luke 22:31&32 Jesus prayed that Peter would keep the faith, be converted and strengthen the brethren. 31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. 2 Corinthians 11:8 (KJV) I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service. Yep that says Paul admitted to being a thief. Punch line. But he believed in the resurrection and didn’t lie about it.

DIRECTIONS

Written By: Rosie Ebaugh thompson  |  first published: July 2016

Directions.

Can I have directions?

If I only knew which way to go…what to do… who to talk to…where to go?

North, South, East, West

Have you noticed how many times those last four words are in the Word of God?

They are not there by mistake. He knows what He’s talking about.

[Gen 28:14 KJV]  14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

As an extremely simplified interpretation: North represents law/jealousy, South represents promise/inheritance, East represents past/refuge, and West represents now/future/trembling. Glory is everywhere, just like God!

All four directions work together. They cannot exist apart from each other. But, it seems peculiar because they don’t seem to be opposites or fit together in any way at all. And yet, they do.

[Rev 21:13 KJV]  13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates, and on the west three gates.

Generally speaking, all buildings need four walls to support the entire structure. This holds true for the New Jerusalem that comes down out of Heaven, Moses’ Tabernacle, Ezekiels’ Tabernacle, and all the other biblical structures I know of.

[1 Ki 7:25 KJV]  25 It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea [was set] above upon them, and all their hinder parts [were] inward.

All of the directions, North, South, East, and West have good and bad in them. It is interesting to me, to see what comes from where.

North: [Eze 44:5 KJV]  5 And the LORD said unto me, Son of man, mark well, and behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears all that I say unto thee concerning all the ordinances of the house of the LORD, and all the laws thereof; and mark well the entering in of the house, with every going forth of

the sanctuary.

Listen up! Take note. These are the laws of the doors.

[Psalms 48:2 KJV]  2 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, [is] mount Zion, [on] the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

[Pro 7:2 KJV] 2 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.

[Eze 8:3-5 KJV]  3 And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where [was] the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy. 4 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel swas) there, according to the vision that I saw in the plain. 5 Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.

Gosh Abba, help me learn this lesson so that you don’t have to pick me up by my hair! The North door is Jealousy.

[Eze 40:39-40 KJV] 39 And in the porch of the gate [were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, to slay thereon the burnt offering and the sin offering and the trespass offering. 40 And at the side without, as one goeth up to the entry of the north gate, [were] two tables, and on the other side, which (was) at the porch of the gate, [were] two tables. The north is where we present our offerings to fulfill the law.

[Jer 4:6 KJV]  6 Set up the standard toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction.

Evil comes from the North.

[Isa 41:25 KJV]  25 I have raised up [one) from the north, and he shall come: from the rising of the sun shall he call upon my name: and he shall come upon princes as supon) mortar, and as the potter treadeth clay.

If it’s heavy, like clay or mortar; it might be evil.

[Jer 15:12 KJV]  12 Shall iron break the northern iron and the steel?

I got it. Cold, hard, heavy, thick…not good.

[Eze 8:14 KJV]  14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD’S house which (was] toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.

[Eze 26:7 KIV]  7 For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring upon Tyrus Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, a king of kings, from the north, with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and companies, and much people.

Crying and war are from the north. But What does that have to do with law?

[Eze 9:2 KJV]  2 And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them (was] clothed with linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar. We strive to keep Moses’s laws, but we can’t because we are human. That’s why The Most High sent Jesus. God in the flesh. He fulfilled the law, and blots out our sins.

[Psa 51:9 KJV]  9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.

[Eze 48:22 KJV]  22 Moreover from the possession of the Levites, and from the possession of the city, [being] in the midst [of that] which is the prince’s, between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin, shall be for the prince. (NE)

Here’s something interesting: Are you looking for a promotion? Job? Award?

[Psa 75:6 KJV]  6 For promotion [cometh] neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. Promotions come from the North. That means you need to follow the law (hand book) of your company. Every jot and tittle. That is how to get the promotion you’re looking for.

Let’s turn around now, 180′ to the South: Promise/inheritance.

[Num 34:2 KJV]  2 Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this [is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, seven the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:)

[Num 33:40 KJV] 40 And king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.

Canaan is an inheritance, and Canaan is in the South.

[Gen 12:9 KJV]  9 And Abram journeyed, going on still toward the south. Before Abram became Abraham he traveled South to receive his land.

[Gen 24:62 KJV] 62 And Isaac came from the way of the well Lahairoi; for he dwelt in the south country

Abraham and Isaac, his son, dwelled in the promise.

[Num 13:22 KJV]  22 And they ascended by the south, and came unto Hebron; where Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak, [were]. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)

[Num 13:29 KJV]  29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.

So, our enemies are in the South. In order for us to receive our inheritance/promise, our enemies must be defeated.

Whereas North and South represent law and promise, East and West represent something completely different. They represent timing. East represents the past, and West represents the future. The sun came up in the east, it happened. The sun will set in the West. It will happen.

[Psa 103:12 KJV]  12 As far as the east is from the west, [so] far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

You can go West forever, you can go East forever. That is the distance He has removed our sins! As far as you can go to the East, turn around, go as far as you can to the west; that is how far he removed our sins. Blotted out. Forgiven.

Take a minute. Just think of His goodness.

Ok. Back to the lesson…

[Isa 41:2 KJV]  2 Who raised up the righteous [man) from the east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made [him rule over kings? he gave [them] as the dust to his sword, [and] as driven stubble to his bow.

Jesus was before the foundation of the earth.

[Mat 24:27 KJV]  27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

When Jesus returns there will be a spectacular light show in the clouds, from the East to the West. And, you can’t predict the timing of lightning, neither can you predict the timing of the coming of the Son of

Man.

[Mat 24:30 KJV]  30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

[Mat 24:31 KJV]  31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

[Mat 24:36 KJV]  36 But of that day and hour knoweth no [man), no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

East: Refuge / Past

[Gen 3:24 KJV]  24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. That was a pretty long time ago, in the East.

[Num 3:38 KJV]  38 But those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, [even] before the tabernacle of the congregation eastward, [shall be] Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger that cometh night shall be put to death.

I sure am glad that Jesus is the door now. He welcomes everyone! He gives everyone eternal life!

[Deu 4:41-42 KJV]  41 Then Moses severed three cities on this side Jordan toward the sun rising; 42 That the slayer might flee thither, which should kill his neighbor unawares, and hated him not in times past; and that fleeing unto one of these cities he might live:

There were three cities of refuge in the East for those who had unfortunate accidents.

[Mat 2:1 KJV]  1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaca in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

Wise men are from the East. Your past gives you wisdom.

[Gen 25:6 KJV]  6 But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country. He did not send Ishmael and Ishmaels’ sons and brothers to the South, the land of promise and inheritance. He sent them East, to the land of refuge. I am sorry that land was a desert.

[Eze 8:16 KJV]  16 And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD’S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, [were] about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the cast; and they worshiped the sun toward the east.

Do not worship the Sun. Do not worship the past. Remember? God is a jealous God. Worship Him.

[Eze 11:1 KJV]  1 Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the LORD’S house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.

[Eze 11:2 KJV]  2 Then said he unto me, Son of man, these [are) the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:

There are wicked people in your past.

[Hos 12:1 KJV]  1 Ephraim feedeth on wind, and followeth after the east wind: he daily increaseth lies and desolation; and they do make a covenant with the Assyrians, and oil is carried into Egypt. Syria? Egypt? Oil? This thing has been going on for a very long time!

[Hos 13:15 KJV]  15 Though he be fruitful among [his] brethren, an east wind shall come, the wind of the LORD shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall spoil the treasure of all pleasant vessels.

[Eze 17:10 KJV]  10 Yea, behold, [being] planted, shall it prosper? shall it not utterly wither, when the east wind toucheth it? it shall wither in the furrows where it grew.

If it comes from the East, your past, it is not fruitful. Make your decisions based on hope for the future, not on wrongs committed in the past.

[Rev 7:2 KJV]  2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea.

[Rev 9:4 KJV]  4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. Get God in your head!!!

[Deu 33:23 KJV]  23 And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favor, and full with the blessing of the LORD: possess thou the west and the south.

Well, since Naphtali gets the West and the South, let’s find out what lies to the West.

West: Trembling / Protection / Future

[Hos 11:10 KJV]  10 They shall walk after the LORD: he shall roar like a lion: when he shall roar, then the children shall tremble from the west.

[Isa 59:19 KJV]  19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

When we revere (fear) the name of the LORD, He sends protection.

[Num 35:14 KJV]  14 Ye shall give three cities on this side of Jordan, and three cities shall ye give in the land of Canaan, [which] shall be cities of refuge.

He is so full of mercy. He gives even more refuge!

[Zec 8:7 KJV]  7 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country;

[Isa 43:5 KJV]  5 Fear not: for I [am] with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;

[Isa 43:6 KJV]  6 I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;

[Isa 43:7 KJV]  7 (Even) every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

[Isa 49:12 KJV]  12 Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim. (China)

[Gen 28:14 KJV]  14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families

of the earth be blessed.

That sounds like a big mixing bowl to me. People from the North, South, East, and West. People from all sorts of cultures: law, grace, past, and, well….us! You and me! We are blessed! Amen! The United States of America is known as “the mixing bowl” and We are considered “the West ”. The West is the future, and that is us! We are the future!

[Eze 37:9 KJV]  9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

In conclusion, This lesson should give you another way to make decisions. Consider points from the North, South, East, and West. North points such as “How does the law, or jealousy affect this decision.?” From the South we might think “Is there promise, or inheritance involved?” To add the East, we should evaluate the past. And from the West, we need to conclude “Where will this decision take the future?’.

Please, never make a decision based on fear.

[Heb 13:6 KJV]  6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

[1Ch 28:20 KJV]  20 And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do [it]: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, [even] my God, [will be] with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.

[Joe 2:21 KJV] 21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.
