Prayer
9-26-20
Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord God ( Adonai Yahweh, Father God) will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
Why did He say that? Because it affects how we pray. For example;
The Bible says, Luke 18:31 and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man (Jesus) shall be accomplished.
When Jesus was born, He was wrapped in swaddling clothes. (Mummy wrappings)He knew from birth that He had to die. He could not skip a step. He could not grow up, preach and heal and suddenly be on the cross dead. He had to get the beatings. He had to go through the death experience. One of the reasons why is because of the fulfillment of prophecy. The prophecy’s had to be fulfilled.
Jesus prayed for what He wanted, but ended with not my will but yours be done.
So now, when I pray for the election, I pray for His will to be done. If certain things have to happen before the resurrection of the saints and the return of Christ, then I want God to expedite them. I want them to happen, quickly so that we can go to the next step. I don’t want to pray for what I want, but what He wants. He can see the bigger picture. We know that we have to go through the tribulation. Sure I want to hear the last Trump sound from the White House. (The House of Repentance.) But something I want more than that is the return of Christ. And I want it sooner rather than later.
Saying all that I want to say that prayer changes things. And God cares how we pray. That is why He told us how to pray. We must be careful how we pray so that we don’t prolong our own agony. With prayer we can shorten the time or lengthen the time. I want these uncertain times to get over with quickly. If they have to get worse before they get better, then so be it. I want a shorter tribulation. Hurry up. Because on the other side is the millennium.
Forever in His love
