Babylon, Usury and Twin Towers

In Revelation 17:10 it says, And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

George W. Bush Jr. was president at the time the towers fell. The five fallen before him were Clinton, Bush Sr., Regan, Carter and Ford. I remember seeing a picture in the Newspaper of these presidents walking together, triggering my remembrance of the Revelation 17:10 passage. That gave me a time sequence that fit with Rev Chapter 18. It is noteworthy and unusual for that many past presidents to be alive at the same time. 

Revelation 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of  every unclean and hateful bird.

Is fallen, Is fallen: when something is repeated twice in scripture it is very important. Why would fallen, fallen be so important? Because two towers fell.

Revelation 18:3 for all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. 

Fornication and adultery are NOT the same thing. Here is the definition of fornication:

 1 Corinthians 5:1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his fathers wife.  

Fornication is incest. God hates incest. Jesus forgave the woman caught in adultery. Jesus forgives everything!

 In Revelation 18:13 the kings of the earth committing fornication with “her” (Babylon) represents leaders of nations charging usury to their citizens. 

Paying interest on your loans is not usury. Charging interest is usury. Making money on stocks is not usury. The guilty is the one who is charging interest. 

Revelation 18:6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill her to double. 

Double was said three times. Why? Once for NYC, once for Washington DC and once for Somerset, Pa. 

 

Revelation 18:8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

She was surely utterly burned with fire, disintegrated actually. 

 

Revelation 18:10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour is thy judgement come.

The whole world watched her burn from a far off on television.

Look at that, two alas’s!

 

One hour. 56 minutes is close enough for me. 

9:59 AM : The south tower of the World Trade Center collapses 56 minutes after being hit by United Airlines Flight 175 and American Airlines Flight 11. The collapse, which lasted 10 seconds, killed over 800 people and first responders inside the building and surrounding area. September 11, 2001 www.govtech.com

It took one hour for the WORLD TRADE Center to disintegrate.

 

Revelation 18:11 And the merchants… This was the World Trade Center! They traded:

Revelation 18:12 – 13 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass and iron, and marble.

13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil and fine flour and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.

 

Revelation 18:18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning. Saying, What city is like unto this great city! Each tower had it’s own zip code.

Revelation 18:19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! For in one hour is she made desolate? 

Do you remember the images the people running, covered with dust? Awful.

 

Do you have eyes that see? This is the Twin Towers that fell on 911.

The trumpets have blown. The bad has happened. Tomorrow will be better. Start looking for a brighter future. The best is yet to come.
