Three books 

Revelation 20:12 

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written the books, according to their works. 

That is books, plural. One book is the book of life and the other book is the book of works. 

Daniel 7:9 – 11

I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times then thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.

Same guy. Hey that is books, plural. Daniel confirms Revelation. 

OK that is two books, you said three.

Hebrews 10: 7

Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

That is the book of God’s will.

Revelation 10:8 – 11

And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.

That little book is already open!

9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.

10 And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.

That is three books, life, works and God’s will.
