It is not my righteousness, but His righteousness. You already knew that. But did you know that it is also not my faith, but His faith and not my holiness but His holiness. And more. I just want you to change your thinking. Stop trying to do it all yourself. You can use His righteousness and faith and holiness etc.
Righteousness
For if by one man’s offense death reigned by one; much more they who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17).
As it is in heaven, so it is on the earth (Matthew 6:10). So if I want ‘as it is in heaven’ then I have to engage the heavenly realm and go where He is, to actually get righteousness.
The Bible describes, “The blessedness of the man, to whom God imputes righteousness without works” (Romans 4:6) The word ‘imputes’ means to ‘put in, or to be reckoned or attributed to a person’.
God puts righteousness into you when you go there. So the reality of our stepping in as a priest of the Lord is that, when I step in there, I become totally and absolutely righteous.
But I want to have my body changed by what I do there (in heaven). So if the record of sin is in my body, and I want my body to be controlled by my spirit. I have to get rid of that sin, so that my spirit can be in control. In other words, you should be Spirit, Soul, Body not, Body, Soul, Spirit.
Righteousness produces holiness. Holiness produces revelation, which creates holiness and this produces the glory of God inside of you. It is a circle. Righteousness adjusts your behavioral patterns and desires. Righteousness restores innocence.
We need to repent for rejecting the gift of righteousness. Your doorway of entry is righteousness.
Faith
The life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me (Galatians 2:20).
So instead of you working your way through stuff, you actually use His faith. Turn from your own supply and self sufficiency into His faith and say, “Lord, that faith that is there, I draw on that because that is how I live my life. It is by Your faith, not my faith.”
When you try to do it on your own, that is your own faith. It is a lower form of faith, There is a higher form of faith which is the faith of the Son of God. He has already done everything, and accomplished it all. What I have to do now is to shift it from me to Him.
When that begins to happen, everything starts changing because suddenly it is no longer coming out of me, it is coming upon me.
The law of faith sanctifies us and makes us holy. You do not get clean to go, you go to get clean.
This is how some of these laws operate, You function underneath them and they make things happen. Then there is nothing you can’t do. It is just what is going to happen.
Faith of the Son of God (Galatians 2:20) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Faith to faith (Romans 1:17) For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
Your Faith is higher than the law (Romans 3:27) Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
Holiness
Our own holiness (Acts 3:12) And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? Or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?
His holiness (Amos 4:2) The Lord GOD hath sworn by his holiness,
Spirit of Holiness (Romans 1:4) And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
His holiness (Hebrews 12:10) For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
Power
His Power (Ephesians 1:19) And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.
Peace
Jesus gave peace Luke 24:36 Peace be unto you.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, MY peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you>Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in ME ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
John 20:19 Jesus stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
Jesus preached peace Acts 10:36 preaching peace by Jesus Christ:
Romans 1:7 peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Joy
Angel brings joy Luke 2:10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
Joy in the presence of Angels Luke 15:10 there is joy in the presence of the angels
John 15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
When you see Jesus no one can take your joy John 16:22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
Ask for joy John 16:24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
My joy John 17:13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
There is more but you get the idea. Whatever you need take His rather than trying to do it yourself.
