Lion or Lamb?

Written By: Diane Ebaugh Sutton  |  Year First Published: 2020

John in Revelation looked for someone who could open the book. No one could, so he cried. But an elder told him the lion of the tribe of Judah, could open the book. But what he saw was a lamb broken.

Revelation 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

Who said that? The elders.

Revelation 5:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and thinking and blessing.

The elders were wrong.

Let’s talk about this. When Jesus was on the cross, he took the sins of the world.

Go ahead, count up your sins. Bet they don’t amount to the sins Jesus had, when he took on the sins of the world.

This was a dead Lamb. Not a risen Christ. This means that Jesus was found worthy before he was manifested, or glorified. Never in this chapter does John talk about a resurrected Christ. Only a Lamb that was slain.

You are also found worthy, before your manifestation. Before you have a glorified body, you are worthy. While you are broken, you are worthy.

It is not my righteousness, but his righteousness. Philippians 3:9 And be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

Before he had the power of the resurrection, he was found worthy, to receive, power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and thinking and blessing. You are worthy to receive all this stuff too.

Let’s find the silver lining. What is a dead lamb? Answer, meat! When Jesus comes and opens the book and breaks the seals, you will get a great meal! The banquet! This is not milk. This is meat!

Revelation 7:17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

You see, the Lamb is meat, and the Lamb will feed us meat!  Lions eat meat. Lambs eat grass.

Revelation 6:16 says hide from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb.

So when is this going to happen? That says that the second return of Christ will be during the tribulation, when the other guys get God’s wrath.

Revelation 7:14 These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

That was just another confirmation concerning timing.

Revelation 10:1 And I saw another mighty angel

Revelation 10:3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth:

This is an angel that is roaring. Not the Lamb.

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto death.

They overcame the great dragon, that old serpent, called the Devil and Satan. Verse 12:9

I think the Lamb is still bleeding. Because they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb. This is something that is happening now.

  1. Revelation 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion

This is a Lamb not a Lion.

Revelation 14:14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man,

That is Jesus on a cloud.

Revelation 15:3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb

That is a Lamb not a Lion.

Revelation 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

That is a Lamb not a Lion.

Revelation 21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

Lamb not Lion.

Revelation 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light there of.

Lamb not Lion.

Revelation 21:27 but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Lamb.

Rev 22:1 proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

Lamb

Rev 22:3 but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it:

Lamb.

Now here is a beautiful picture of Christ. Rev 19:11-16 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood; and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Now I want you to look at this picture. His vesture is dipped in blood. Blood has a shelf life of 42 days. I believe he is still bleeding. He is still cleansing us with his blood.

You are looking for a Lion, you get a Lamb. If this was good enough for God, I believe it is good enough for us.

Don’t use your lack of manifestation as a mode of procrastination. Go get your destiny.

Stop looking for Jesus to come back with the attitude of a Lion. He comes back with the attitude of a Lamb. That is the same mistake they made last time. And a lot of people missed him because of it.

Summary: There are many more verses for this study. These are just a few that I chose

Cleansing

Date First Published: 2000

Any spirit that cannot confess that Jesus Christ is of God and came in the flesh. I rebuke you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. = 1 John 4:2

I bind you, bruise you, cast you out, in the power of Jesus name. = Romans 16:20

This house was fashioned for the Lord’s presence, you have no authority here. = Ezekiel 43:11

Sing, “There is power in the blood of the Lamp.”

Cast out devils by the spirit of God Matthew. = 12:28

It is time. = Isiah 61:2

Priest cleaning a leprous house = why we use salt = Leviticus 14:33-36

Always remember there is no such thing as a void, after casting out…. Invite in the Holy Spirit, or the opposite of what you cast out.

How often should I cleanse my house? How often do you take out the trash? It is one of those jobs that must be done regularly, weather you see or feel anything or not. Do you go to the grocery store? Maybe you bought something back with you. Do your neighbors come in? Salesmen, repairmen, junk mail? Do you channel surf?

We are not asking you to eliminate anything our of your life style, anymore than we would ask you to stop producing garbage.

And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places. = Isaiah 32:18

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. = 1 John 4:4

If you think it is scary to cleanse, just think how scary things can get if you don’t.

What did Jesus Write on the Ground?

This story is recorded in St. John chapter 8. Right above Have you ever wondered.

Have you ever wondered about this? Maybe Jesus wrote “you’re forgiven”. Maybe he wrote “I love you”. I think maybe Jesus wrote the sins of the men who were accusing the woman. Jesus knew everything. Maybe he wrote “Where is the guy she was with?” “What is his part in all of this?” Maybe he wrote all 613 Tzav commands from the Torah.

After all if you are guilty of one sin you are guilty of them all. That would have made all those guys standing around leave one by one. No, that would take too long.

Maybe he just wrote the 10 commandments? No, Jesus didn’t debate the sin. That would make one sin worse than another. Philippians 4:8 says, Whatever is true, honest, just, pure, lovely, good report, virtue, or praise think on these things. Jesus didn’t dwell on her sins or their sins. Jesus documented his authority, by writing his lineage. Jesus wanted to pardon the woman. The Scribes and Pharisees thought they had the authority to stone her.

Do you remember when Jesus was born? Herod had all those babies killed, because Herod and all of Jerusalem were afraid. Those guys knew there was someone out there who had more right to his position of power than Herod did. Matthew 2:3; 16 says: Jesus could have gotten an army and become King of the Jews.

So what was Jesus’ authority?

Matthew 1:1 – 16 (Jesus’s lineage through Joseph) That says he is the rightful heir to the physical throne of the Jews. If Caesar wasn’t in power, Jesus would be the earthly King. Pilate knew Jesus was the “King of the Jews”, he put a sign on the cross that said “King of the Jews” Caiaphas said, reword that. Pilate said no. John 19:19 This gives Jesus more earthly authority than them. Jesus was adopted by Joseph. This was for Jesus’s Body. This made him the Son of David.

(Jesus’s lineage through Mary- Zacharias) Luke 1:5 says; John’s father Zacharias was a Priest. Luke 1:10 says that Zacharias was the High Priest. Once a year the High Priest went into the Holy of Holies. At this time in history the incense was in the Holy of Holies. It was the time of incense, so he was the High Priest. When John was a child, Pilate appointed Caiaphas to be the High Priest. (From the Jewish Encyclopedia). John should have become High Priest at age 30, but Caiaphas was too politically entrenched. John 11:48 says “If this man continues, we will lose our position.” When John was beheaded, Jesus was next in line to be the High Priest.

(Jesus’s lineage through Mary- Elizabeth) Luke 1:36 Remember Mary went to visit Elizabeth when they were both pregnant. The Bible says they were cousins. Luke 1:5 says that Elisabeth was of the daughters of Aaron. This gives Jesus more authority in the temple, than any of the other guys. Jesus should have been the High Priest. Jesus had the authority to pardon a sinner, or condemn a sinner. John the Baptist should have been the High Priest through both his Mother and his Father. This was for Jesus Soul. This made him the Son of Man. And Jesus was the priest after the order of Melchizeadek. Hebrews 5:5; 6 & 10. This was for Jesus’s Spirit. This made him the Son of God.

So when Jesus wrote on the ground one time he wrote his lineage from Mary and one time he wrote his lineage from Joseph. When the men reading his lineage saw that Jesus had more authority than they did, they left, one at a time, as they saw Jesus’s lineage superior to their own lineage. Jesus didn’t argue about sin. He simply stated his authority. Then he began a verbal debate as to who his heavenly Father was.

Let’s read St. John chapter 8…

1. Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
2. Jesus went to the temple and he taught the people. In the temple the High Priest has all the authority.
3. The scribes and Pharisees brought him an adulterous woman.
4. They told Jesus she was taken in the very act!
5. Moses law says we should stone her. What do you say?
6. They were trying to trap Jesus. Jesus pretended that he didn’t hear them. He wrote with his finger on the ground.
7. Jesus said, he who is sinless through the first stone. (Those self righteous guys would not have admitted to a sin)

8. And he wrote some more stuff on the ground. This is the 2nd writing.
9. And the men left. One by one. Starting with the oldest to the youngest.
10. Jesus stood up, and asked the woman, Who is still condemning you?
11. She said, no one, Boss. Jesus responded, I am not condemning you. Go and sin no more.
12. Jesus said, I am the light of life. (Not death)(Not stoning)
13. (Here is the key) The Pharisees said. “Thou BEAREST record of thyself;” The Pharisees did not say “ you said”. They said you BEAR your record of yourself. When he BEAR record of himself, this is when he wrote on the ground. When they said THYSELF, Jesus was not discussing the woman or anyone’s sin. Jesus was writing about HIMSELF. And your record is not true.
14. Jesus said, is so true. I know where I came from and I know where I am going. But you don’t know where I came from or where I am going. (When he said I know where I came from, he was talking about his lineage.) I know who my Fathers are.
15. Jesus told them, you judge me because of my lineage. But I don’t.
16. But what I wrote is true. And more than that, my Father is in me. This begins the debate as to who his heavenly Father was.

17. Your law says if two men say the same thing. That makes it true.

18. I am one, and my Father is two. So there!
19. So the Pharisees asked Jesus, Where is your Father? Jesus said you don’t know me and you don’t know my Father. If you knew me you would know Him.
20. Jesus had this discussion in the temple. It wasn’t time for him to die yet. In the temple the High Priest has the authority.
21. Jesus said; I am leaving now. You will hunt for me, where I am going you can’t come. You will die in your sins. Where I am going you can’t come.
22. The Jews said,” will Jesus kill himself”? Because he said, Where I am going you cannot come.
23. Jesus said, You are from below, I am from above. (He was talking about where he was from) You are human, I am not. Now he is arguing about the fact that the Holy Spirit is his Father.
24. Jesus said you will die in your sins. Because if you don’t believe who I am, you will die in your sins.
25. They said; Who are you? Jesus said, I already told you.
26. Jesus said; I could judge you for many things. But the guy who sent me is true, and I only say what he tells me to say. (I could get you in a lot of trouble but, God my Father wouldn’t like that)
27. They did not understand that he was talking about the Father.
28. Jesus said, when you put this human man on the cross, you will know that I am the messiah, and I only say what my Father tells me to say.
29. My Father is with me and he is pleased with me.
30. Many people believed him.
31. Jesus said to the believers, If you listen to what I say, then you are my disciples
32. And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.
33. They said Abraham is our Father, and we have never been bound. How can you say we will be free?
34. Jesus said; If you commit a sin, you are in bondage to sin.
35. The servant doesn’t live in the house forever. But the Son lives in the house forever. (Here Jesus is saying that his lineage is perfect. There was no illegitimates in his lineage.)
36. The Son is the master of the house and if he makes you free, you will be free.
37. I know who your father is. It is Abraham. But you are trying to kill me, because you don’t like what I say.
38. I say what I have seen my Father say. And you do what you have seen your Father do.
39. They said,” Abraham is our Father”. Jesus said, If Abraham was your Father you would do what Abraham did.
40. But now you are trying to kill me, and I told you the truth, which God told me, Abraham didn’t do this.
41. You do what your Father did. They said we are not illegitimate. We have one Father. God.
42. Jesus said if God was your Father, you would love me.
43. You can’t understand me, because you can’t hear me.
44. Your Father is the devil. And you will do what he wants. He was a murderer from the start.(Now, Jesus is talking about the woman taken in adultery.) The devil is a liar and the father of lies.

45. And you don’t believe me.
46. Why don’t you believe me?
47. If you were of God, you would hear his words. But you don’t hear them because God is not your Father.
48. The Jews said, Hah! We said you were a Samaritan, and you have a devil.
49. Jesus said, I do not have a devil.
50. God hunts and judges, not me.
51. If you do what I say, you won’t ever die.
52. The Jews said, Oh now we know you have a devil, because Abraham and the prophets are dead. You say, that if we do what you say, we won’t die.
53. Are you greater than Abraham and the prophets? (The prophets are some of the guys in his lineage that he wrote on the ground.) They died! Who made you?
54. I am trying to honor God here. You say he is your God.
55. You don’t know him. I know him.
56. Abraham was looking forward to this time in history and he was happy when he saw it.
57. The Jews said, you aren’t even fifty years old yet. And you say you have seen Abraham?
58. Jesus said, I was in existence, before Abraham.
59. So they decided to stone Jesus, but Jesus hid and escaped.

Some key things to remember here. This happened in the temple. Jesus knelt down and wrote on the ground twice. The first time he wrote his lineage. He looked up and there was still some guys standing around. After noting who they were, he knelt down and wrote his other lineage. One lineage from Mary, and one from Joseph. Writing it made it a legal document. Jesus wrote a legal document stating his lineage which gave him more authority than anyone else, in the temple. Kind of like going to the courthouse to make a statement.

John took up the same argument. John knew his own lineage. John knew Jesus lineage.
Matthew 3:9 John says to the Pharisees and Sadducees, don’t tell me Abraham is your Father. God is able to raise up children of Abraham using these stones. I don’t care about where you came from there is one mightier than even me. Matthew 3:11. The moral here is, if someone condemns you, know that Jesus has more authority than they do. You can be condemned in your spirit or soul or body. But don’t be, because Jesus will pardon you, he has the authority to.

So let’s talk about your family tree. St. John 15:5 Jesus said, I am the vine, ye are the branches. There you have it, we are in the same family tree! You are a joint heir with Christ. He is your brother. You have been adopted, grafted in, you have the same authority as Jesus. As a King and a Priest you can condemn and kill or you can pardon and forgive and love. The choice is up to you.

Part 2

Let’s go to the outer court of the temple. Let’s go near the altar. This is where a live animal was brought and the priest would field dress it, and sacrifice it. Now if during field dressing the bladder was punctured or torn, and urine was spilt on the ground, that dirt was toxic. If you would go to another part of the outer court, say near the laver, or just somewhere out there, the dirt would not be harmful.

If a woman (or a man) was suspected of adultery, they would bring her to the High Priest. He would take water from the spring and put some wine in it. They would take the woman and sprinkle some dust from the ground in it and make her drink it. If she became sick, she was thought to be guilty. If she stayed healthy, she was innocent. I think the priest knew where to get the dirt. They brought the woman who was caught in the act of adultery to Jesus.

This act in itself says that those Pharisees acknowledged Jesus as the High Priest. They brought the woman and the cup. When Jesus knelt down on the ground, they thought He was going to scoop up some dirt and add it to the cup. But He didn’t. He simply wrote his lineage. You see they had already acknowledged that He was the High Priest. The best way for them and their positions was to walk away.

Trump is a Type & Shadow of Solomon

By: Diane Sutton & Bob Dorn

I want to tell you a story. King David was old and about to die. So they brought a beautiful young virgin to him and he gat no heat. So Adonijah said I will be King. The problem was King David had already promised Solomon to be the King.

Well Adonijah took Joab and Zeruiah and Abiathar the Priest, and killed sheep and cows by the stone of Zoheleth. This stone is near Enrogel. And he called all his brothers and the kings servants and they had a coronation and a party.

Because of this, I believe that Biden will be inaugurated.

So Nathan the Prophet told Bathsheba Solomon’s Mom what was going on. At the urging of Nathan, Bathsheba went to see David the King and told him that they had coroneted Adonijah.

King David said, get Zadok the Priest and Nathan the Prophet and Benaiah and anoint Solomon King, at Gihon. So of course they did but, two tribes also went with them the Cherethites and the Pelethites. And they blew the Trumpet. And let him sit on David’s throne.

I want you to take note that Solomon had a prophet of God. Adonijah did not have a prophet of God. They both had soldiers and priests.

Listen to the prophets of God.

Let me help you keep this story straight.
Trump                             Biden
Solomon                         Adonijah
Zadok the priest            Joab
Nathan the Prophet     Abithathar the Priest
Benaiah                          50 men
The Cherethites
The Pelethites

This is the key verse:
1 Kings 2:15 Thou knowest the kingdom was mine. (Adonijah) and all Israel set their faces on me that I shall reign: howbeit the kingdom is turned about and become my brothers: for it was from the LORD.

That sounds like Trump and Biden. Biden knows that he will get inaugurated. But the tide has turned and Trump will become the ruler. And Biden knows that it is from the LORD.

Adonijah is a type and shadow of Biden.

Adonijah tried to take the kingdom from Solomon.

Adonijah had Joab and Abithathar the priest and others help him.

1 Kings 1:7 And he conferred with Joab and with Abiathar the priest: and they following Adonijah helped him.

Biden did not have many followers either.

Solomon had Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet and Benaiah and the Cherethites and the Pelethites help him.

1 Kings 1:38 So Zadok the priest, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah and the Cherethites and the Pelethites, went down and caused Solomon to ride upon king David’s mule, and brought him to Gihon.

Trump had a lot of followers.

Here are some word definitions for you:

Parlay: this is a pirate code. It means you cannot kill me until I speak or negotiate with the captain.

Parler: (in French this would be pronounced Parlay) is a social media outlet, that has just been taken down by Amazon. Is this a prophetic sign that there will be no parlay?

Sanctuary: means you cannot kill me because I am in a church.

Joab grabbed hold of the horns of the alter, thinking that would preserve his life. Effectively calling Sanctuary. But Solomon said kill him there.

1 Kings 2:28 Then tidings came to Joab: for Joab had turned after Adonijah. And Joab fled unto the tabernacle of the LORD, and caught hold on the horns of the altar.
Joab cried Sanctuary. But it didn’t work.
1 Kings 2:34 So Benaiah went up, and fell upon him and slew him.
1 Kings 1:50 And Adonijah feared because of Solomon, and arose, and went, and caught hold on the horns of the altar.
And Solomon let him go,
1 Kings 1:53 So King Solomon said unto him, Go to thine house.
That time crying Sanctuary worked.

There is a possibility the Trump will let Biden go for the time being. (Adonijah gets punished later).

Then Benaiah was promoted. This was the guy who killed Joab.
1 Kings 2:35 And the king put Benaiah. In his room over the host (He was promoted): and Zadok the priest did the king put in the room of Abiathar. (He was demoted)
Abiathar the priest was demoted.
1 Kings 2:26 And unto Abiathar the priest said the King, Get thee to Anathon, unto thine own fields; for thou art worthy of death; but I will not at this time put thee to death, because thou barest the ark of the Lord God before David my father, 27. So Solomon thrust out Abiathar from being priest unto the LORD.

1 Kings 1:9 Zoheleth, In Strong’s 2020 which is from the Hebrew root 2019, which mean to crawl and be afraid. Strong’s 2020 means to crawl, ie serpent. (This refers to gays and or lesbians.) You never see two female cats trying to mate. You never see two male dogs trying to mate. Mammals mate male and female. However on rare occasions. Reptiles mate with the same sex. Serpents are reptiles. Therefore, I believe this particular stone Zoheleth refers to gays and or lesbians. This particular stone may have been used in some sort of terrible ceremony. Because the word also means to be afraid.

It is prophetic that the number in Strong’s is 2020. It means to have clear vision. Also, Strong’s 2020 in Greek means to begin to grow light: begin to dawn.

1 Kings 1:9 Enrogel, Is Strong’s 5883 means slander or lie.
1 Kings 1:38 Cherethites, Is Strong’s 3774 means covenant, (New Covenant in Christ.) This also means executioner. (Military and secret service)
1 Kings 1:38 Pelethites Is Strong’s 6432 means messengers (these messengers bring the truth.)New media.

So….
1 Kings 1:9 should say,
And Adonijah slew sheep and oxen and fat cattle by the stone of gays and lesbians, and fear, which is by a lie, and called all his brethren the King’s sons, and all the men of Judah the Kings servants.
And
1 Kings 1:5
Then Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying, I will be King: and he prepared him chariots, horsemen and fifty men to run before him.

This story is prophetic.

So what happens next? I want you to watch for someone to say you cannot kill me because of where I am or, I want to negotiate. But that person, society, or organization may be killed anyway.

Benjamin Fulford stated in his Weekly Report:

The events of the past week, and the coming weeks, will go down in history as one of the biggest, if not THE biggest, revolutions in history. We are not talking just about the fall of the United States of America Corporation. We are talking about the end to a system of slavery that has continued for thousands of years.

The U.S. military is now officially on the warpath. Multiple U.S. warriors like Generals Michael Flynn and Thomas McInterney are among the many who have gone on the record to say a Second American Revolution is underway.

We can also report from both the P3 Freemasons and Russian FSB sources that the Khazarian Mafia (specifically the Davos people and the European dark nobility) has reached out to the White Dragon Society and its allies to negotiate a surrender.

As the P3 put it:
“The Deep State is in panic, they want to negotiate…they understand at the highest level what really happened and are afraid.”

1 Kings 1:38 should say,
So Zadok the priest, and Nathan the Prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada and the new covenant military and secret service and the new media went down and caused Solomon to ride upon King David’s mule, and brought him to Gihon. And Solomon (Trump) will be King.

“Blessing or Curse” By: Derek Prince | BOOK REPORT

BOOK REPORT Written By: Diane Ebaugh Sutton | First Published 2018

Numbers 23:30 Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.

A curse can be a barrier to keep people from receiving healing. And a curse had kept me from the level of prosperity that God had intended for me. (Derek)

2 Corinthians  4: 17 – 18 But the things that are not seen are eternal.

Proverbs 26:2 A curse without a cause shall not alight.

Someone or something put that curse there. It is helpful to discover the cause.

In most cases, it is necessary to deal with the occult involvement and to revoke the curse before demons can be driven out.

The corresponding phrases from Deuteronomy 28 are, plague with diseases; consumption or wasting disease; fever; inflammation; boils; tumors; scabs or sores; itch; blindness; sickness.

This list creates what might be called the atmosphere of a curse. They suggest evil forces at work.

Sometimes it is sufficient to revoke the curse, without any specific prayer for healing. And the healing will come.

Malachi 4:5&6 And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.

The most urgent social problem is the outworking of a curse. It comes between husbands and wives, parents and children, brothers and sisters. Its goal is the destruction of the family.

The tap root is what links many generations to worship false Gods. This brings on generational curses.

Matthew 15:13 Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.

Two of the strongest cravings are the desire for knowledge and the desire for power. If a man is not satisfied he will turn to supernatural sources, and becomes entrapped in the occult.

Deuteronomy 27:15-26  On the mountains of Ebal and Gerizim half of the tribes would invoke a blessing on all Israelite’s who were obedient. Then the other six tribes would invoke a curse on all who were disobedient. To both the blessing and the curse, all the people were required to respond, Amen! Some of the curses were: Acknowledging and worshiping false gods. Others were:

Disrespect for parents.

All forms of oppressions and injustice.

All forms of illicit or unnatural sex.

All forms of disobedience to the Law.

Disrespect for parents brings God’s curse.

Galatians 3:1-10  Trusting in the works of the law (legalism) and making flesh our strength (carnality) culminate in a curse.

Legalism is just as deadly as other; less respectable sins.

Galatians 1:6-9  If anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. The Greek word translated accursed is anathema. It means something that provokes God’s wrath.

Blessing and cursing can never be separated from one another, any more than heat from cold, or day from night.

Jacob reacted indignantly to Laban’s accusation of theft. Genesis 31:32  If you find anyone who has your gods, he shall not live. The words of Jacob’s curse, was a death sentence on the one who stole them, Rachel. Shortly afterward, she died in childbirth.

Daily confess; Galatians 3:13-14 Through the sacrificial offering of Christ on the cross I have been purchased out from under the curse and have entered into the blessings of Abraham, whom God blessed in all things.

The significance of a ring is that it often symbolizes a covenant relationship. By biblical standards, a covenant is the most solemn and powerful form of relationship. Therefore Satan exploits covenant relationships in order to gain the strongest possible control over the people.

Titus 3:2 Paul says to speak evil of no one. The phrase no one applies to believers or unbelievers. The Greek verb translated to speak evil is from the word blaspheme. The sin of blaspheme includes not only evil words spoken against God, but also evil words spoken against our fellow human beings. Such language is forbidden to Christians.

James 4:11 Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. The word here translated to speak evil is katalalo, which means to speak against. We are not to speak against fellow believers at all- even if what we say about them is true. This sin is not speaking falsely but speaking against.

I bound the satanic forces at work against me, I loosed myself from the effect of my friend’s words about me. The pain in my abdomen ceased. (Derek)

Matthew 7:1-2 Jesus says, Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgement you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. The verb translated to judge is derived from critic and criticize.

A different kind of situation arises when we are legally obligated to serve as a witness. No one can, be at the same time both a witness and a judge. In this situation we are not filling the role of a judge, but of a witness.

God has not provided many different solutions for the many problems of mankind. Instead there is one solution. The cross of Jesus.

Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Here is the basic problem of humanity. There are sins that many of us have never committed, murder, adultery, theft and so on. But, we have all turned to our own way. The Hebrew word here is avon, here translated iniquity. This is the cause for the curses.

The Divine Exchange!

Christians often limit salvation to the experience of having one’s sins forgiven and being born again. However it is only the first part.

*Isaiah 53:6 The Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. Jesus identified with our iniquity and also endured all the evil consequences of that iniquity. He carried them away so that they might never return again upon us. Now God offers us all the good that was due to the sinless obedience of Jesus.

*Jesus was punished that we might be forgiven. Jesus was wounded that we might be healed.

*Jesus was made sin with our sinfulness that we might become righteous with His righteousness.

*Jesus died our death that we might share His life.

*Jesus became poor with our poverty that we might become rich with His riches.

A man who can provide a meal for five thousand men plus women and children certainly would not be considered poor by normal standards! Matthew 14:15-21

Jesus exemplified abundance. He always had all that He needed. He was continually giving out to others, and His supply was never exhausted. So when did Jesus become poor for our sakes? On the cross. Deuteronomy 28:8 Moses summed up absolute poverty, hunger, thirst, nakedness and need of all things. Jesus experienced all this on the cross.

*Jesus bore our shame that we might share His glory.

*Jesus endured our rejection that we might have His acceptance as children of God.

*The shame Jesus endured on the cross has opened the way to be released from our own shame.

*The rejection of Jesus resulted in our acceptance.

Matthew 27:46, 50 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? That is, My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?….Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.

* God rejected His own Son. Jesus died not of the wounds of crucifixion, but of a broken heart.

*Jesus became a curse that we might receive a blessing.

Galatians 3:13-14 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

There is no need resulting from man’s rebellion that is not covered by the same principal of exchange. The evil came upon Jesus that the good might be offered to us. Now you must lay hold of this principle to meet that special need in your life: release from the curse.

Just before He expired, there came one final, triumphant cry: It is finished! In the Greek It is finished, means It is completely complete or It is perfectly perfect.

*Giving Thanks is the first step to release.

Jesus had taken upon Himself every evil consequence brought upon humanity. That we might receive every blessing. Such a sacrifice is stupendous in its scope, yet marvelous in its simplicity. If you are living under a curse, Jesus has made full provision for your release. Your response is to say, Thank You!

Salvation includes the total human personality, spirit, soul and body and it is consummated only by the resurrection of the body at the return of Christ. It is normal to progress by stages. Many Christians never go beyond receiving forgiveness of their sins. They are not aware of the many other provisions that are freely available to them.

A person may seek physical healing, not knowing that the root of his physical sickness is an inner emotional problem. In response, God will move to bring the emotional healing that is needed. If the person does not open himself up to this, but continues to beg for physical healing, he may in the end receive no healing at all, either physical or emotional.

A curse over a person’s life is the barrier that holds him back from the other provisions of salvation.

Deuteronomy 30:19 This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.

Like Israel, we determine our destiny by the choice we make. Our choice may also affect the destiny of our descendants. God is waiting for you to choose. Not to choose is, in effect to make the wrong choice.

*The response: Lord, on the basis of Your Word, I make my response. I refuse death and the curses, and I choose life and blessings.

Confess your faith in Christ and in His sacrifice on your behalf.

The word confess means to say the same as. Confession means saying with our mouth what God has already said in His Word.

Hebrews 3:1 Jesus is called the High Priest of our confession. When we make confession, it releases His priestly ministry on our behalf.

*Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that You are the Son of God and the only way to God, and that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead.

Repent of all your rebellion and your sins.

Mark 1:15 Without repentance, no effective faith is possible.

*I give up all my rebellion and all my sin, and I submit myself to You as my Lord.

Claim forgiveness of all sins.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

*I confess all my sins before You and ask for Your forgiveness especially for any sins that exposed me to a curse. Release me also from the consequences of my ancestors’ sins.

Forgive all other people who have ever harmed you or wronged you.

Forgiving is not ab emotion; it is a decision.

You have in your hand IOUs from another person that total $10,000. In heaven, God has in His hand IOUs from you to Him in the amount of $10,000,000. God makes you an offer: You tear up the IOUs in your hand, and I’ll tear up the IOUs in Mine. On the other hand, if you hold onto your IOUs , I’ll hold onto Mine!

*By a decision of my will, I forgive all who have harmed me or wronged me-just as I want God to forgive me. In particular, I forgive….

Renounce all contact with anything occult or satanic.

2 Corinthians 6:14-15 What fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial (Satan)? Therefore Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.

*I renounce all contact with anything occult or satanic-if I have any contact objects, I commit myself to destroy them. I cancel all Satan’s claims against me.

You are now ready to pray the prayer of release from any curse.

Remember, there is only one basis upon which God offers His mercy: the exchange that took place when Jesus died on the cross. Included in that exchange was provision for release from every curse. You do not have to earn your release. You do not have to be worthy.

Receiving is in the past tense; having is in the future. Receiving takes place when we pray. Then having follows.

*Lord Jesus, I believe that on the cross You took on Yourself every curse that could ever come upon me. So I ask You now to release me from every curse over my life-in Your name, Lord Jesus Christ!

*By faith I now receive my release and I thank you for it.

Now don’t stop at saying Thank You just once or twice. Your mind cannot grasp a fraction of what you have asked God to do for you, but respond to God with your heart!

Now believe that you have received, and go on in God’s blessing!

Do not try at this stage to analyze what form the blessing will take or how God will impart it to you. Leave that in God’s hands. Let Him do it just how and when He will. You do not have to concern yourself with that.

*Lord, I now open myself to receive Your blessing in every way You want to impart it to me.

*Repeat these words. Exaltation, Health, Reproductiveness, Prosperity, Victory, God’s favor.

As you repeat them, pause and thank God that each one is now part of your inheritance. Remember that giving thanks is the purest and simplest expression of faith.

Satan has some foreknowledge of what God has prepared for those who escape from his oppression. The greater the blessings in store for a person, the more determined will be Satan’s attempt to hold him back.

The sword is the sword of the Holy Spirit. If we take it the Holy Spirit will wield it. But if we do not take it, the Holy Spirit has nothing to wield.

Each of Satan’s three temptations contained the word if. In other words, it was aimed to produce doubt. Jesus countered every temptation with the same phrase: It is written. Satan has no defense against the Word of God.

Joshua 1:6,9,18 Be strong and of good courage.

The Kingdom demands forcefulness, an attitude of fixed determination that presses ahead regardless of every kind of difficulty or discouragement.

One of the first steps is a correct diagnosis of the condition. Once you understand that your life is under a curse, you will be motivated to seek the release that Jesus purchased through the exchange on the cross.

Perhaps parents realize that they have brought curses upon their children, He has a special promise in Isaiah 49:24-25

Can plunder be taken from warriors, or captives rescued from the fierce? But this is what the Lord says: Yes, captives will be taken from warriors, and plunder retrieved from the fierce; I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save.

Hebrews 3:1 Jesus is the High Priest of our confession.

In every situation we encounter, we must respond with scriptural confession in order to invoke the continuing ministry of Jesus as our High Priest. Confession is limited to the statements and promises of the Bible. It consists in saying with our mouth what God has already said in His Word. Beyond this confession cannot go. So don’t confess your sins, confess what God has already said.

Hebrews 10:21,23 And having a High Priests over the house of God… let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

It is our confession that unites us to Jesus as out High Priest and releases His priestly ministry on our behalf. The words hold fast mean, we must consistently reaffirm our original confession.

When accusations come from human enemies, the issues are clear. But when the accusations are inward, directed against the mind by demonic powers, the issue is the same: to maintain the confession of the truth with unwavering determination until those invisible forces are silenced and routed.

Psalm 118:15,17 Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous: The Lord’s right hand has done mighty things! …I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done.

Proclamation to shout aloud, implies a transition from a defensive posture to one of attack.

There is a distinction between thanksgiving and praise. We thank God for what He does; we praise Him for who He is.

Psalm 100:4 First, we enter His gates with thanksgiving; then, we pass through His courts with praise. This brings us into the immediate presence of God.

Faith begins to praise God before the promised victory, not after it.

Psalm 50:23 He who sacrifices thank offerings honors me, and he prepares the way so that I may show him the salvation of God.

Psalm 20:5 In the name of our God we will set up our banners!

Three effective banners are proclamation, thanksgiving and praise. First, we secure the blessings of God that we have proclaimed. Second, we shut out the satanic forces that would resist us and seek to withhold the blessings from us.

Hebrews 4:12 As we both speak and hear, both edges of the sword of God’s Word are at work in us simultaneously.

The mind is the main field of battle. We must be careful to recognize dependency on the Holy Spirit. Otherwise, the carnal mind can reduce these principles to a system.

Here are some proclamations:

*Galatians 3:13-14 Through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, I have passed out from under the curse and entered into the blessing of Abraham, whom God blessed in all things.

Ruth (Derek’s wife) has received release from many curses over her life, but she has a continuing battle walking it out in experience. We make this proclamation several times a day. Each time, we move further away from the effects of curses and into the blessings of inheritance.

*Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against I do now condemn. This in my heritage as a servant of the Lord, and my righteousness is from You, O Lord.

First, we ask God to condemn any tongue that speaks against us. God has given us authority to do this for ourselves. Second, our right to exercise this authority depends not on our own righteousness, but on His righteousness.

*Lord, I forgive all who have spoken evil against me, and having forgiven them, I bless them in Your name.

He instructs us to forgive those who seek to harm us, and to respond to a curse with a blessing. Blessing and forgiving, those who curse us, does not depend on our emotions. It proceeds from a firm decision of our will.

First, we condemn the tongue that has uttered the curse. Second, we forgive the person from whom the curse proceeded. Third, we ask God to bless the person.

*2 Corinthians 5:17-18 I am in Christ, and therefore I am a new creation. All those old things have passed away. Everything in my life has become new, and everything is from God. And… Revelation 21:5 *Then He who sat on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me, Write, for these words are true and faithful.

Proclaim the above when pressures of sin or guilt or unworthiness pursue us from our past.

*Psalm 118:17 I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done.

When oppressed by hopelessness and gloomy forebodings of death present themselves, Proclaim the above.

*1 Peter 2:24 Jesus Himself bore my sins in His own body on the tree, that I, having died to sins, might live for righteousness-by whose wounds I was healed.

*1 Corinthians 6:19; Ephesians 1:7; 1 John 1:7; Hebrews 13:12; Romans 6:13;8:33-34; Revelation 12:11; 1 Corinthians 6:13 My body is a temple for the Holy Spirit, redeemed, cleansed and sanctified by the blood of Jesus. My members-the parts of my body-are instruments of righteousness, presented to God for His service and for His glory. The devil has no place in me, no power over me, no unsettled claims against me. All has been settled by the blood of Jesus. I overcame Satan by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony, and I do not love my life to the death. My body is for the Lord, and Lord is for my body.

Proclaim the following when Satan attacks or home, our family, our business, our ministry, etc.

*The bolts of our gates will be iron and bronze, and our strength will equal our days. There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides on the heavens to help us and on the clouds in His majesty. The eternal God is our refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out our enemy before us, saying, destroy him!

Our gates represent our defense system. God will drive out our enemy before us. God says, destroy him! And He has given us the spiritual weapons we need to do this.

* 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 The weapons of my warfare are mighty in God. With them I pull down the strongholds that Satan has built in my mind. I bring all my thoughts into obedience to Christ. Three of my weapons are proclamation, thanksgiving and praise.

Remember, our enemies are not human beings. Our enemies are spiritual forces from Satan. From Ephesians 6:12

*Forgiving is stronger than resenting; blessing is stronger than cursing; giving thanks is stronger than complaining; praise is stronger than accusation; and loving is stronger than hating.

*I can do all things through the One who empowers me within. Philippians 4:13

God’s strength is made perfect in my weakness, and so when I am weak, then I am strong 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

*God is able to make all grace abound toward us, that we, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8

Abundance, not mere sufficiency.

*God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

*In the name of Jesus I submit to God and I resist the spirit of fear. Therefore it has to flee from me.James 4:7

Do not put your faith in your proclamation, or in any other method or procedure. Our faith must be in God alone.

Be strong and of good courage.

Jesus took upon Himself all the consequences that disobedience to God had brought upon the human race. These fall into two main categories: those brought upon Adam by his original disobedience in the Garden; and those pronounced later in connection with the Law given through Moses.

Galatians 3:13 states, Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. This relates to the fact that the Law had declared that anyone executed by hanging on a tree had- by that very fact-become a curse. This opened the way for deliverance from the curse through the sacrifice of Christ.

God pronounced a curse upon Adam and Eve in the Garden. Genesis 3:16-19 this falls into two main sections, the first spoken to Eve, and the second spoken to Adam.

Eve’s curse, Childbearing would be arduous and painful. And She would be subject to her husband’s authority and dependent upon him for her desire for children.

Adam curse, Genesis 2:15 Hard labor, thorns and thistles, and man would be subject to decay and death. These curses affected the earth itself.

The crown on Jesus’ head represented the curse of thorns; the purple color of His robe represented the curse of thistles.

Matthew 1:1-17 Traces Jesus genealogy back to Abraham. As a descendant of Abraham, Jesus was born under the law, Moses law.

Luke 3:23-38 the genealogy of Jesus is traced back to Adam. As a son of Adam, Jesus was subject to the curses.

On the cross Jesus died as the last Adam. He took upon himself all the consequences that Adam’s disobedience had brought upon the human race. When he died they were terminated. When he was buried, they were forever put away.

Then on the third day Jesus rose again from the dead as the second Man. He became the Head of an entirely new race-the Immanuel race. The God-man race, a race in which the nature of God and man are blended together in a new creation.

Jesus on the cross was made a curse in order to cancel every curse on man and on creation. Revelation 22:3 And there shall be no more curse.

Matthew 21:21 Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree… In other words, He gave them authority to pronounce curses.

When blessings are offered, but rejected, curses inevitably follow. The same applies to those who have the Gospel with its blessings proclaimed to them, but deliberately and consciously reject it. They expose themselves to corresponding curses.

Acts 13:9-12 Then Paul, FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT, looked intently at him and said, O full of all deceit and all fraud, thou son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord? And now, indeed, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time. And immediately a dark mist fell on him, and he went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand. Then the proconsul believed, when he saw what had been done, being astonished at the teaching of the Lord.

Paul was filled with the Holy Spirit. His words were not the product of his own fleshly reaction to opposition, but represented God’s sovereign judgment on the sorcerer, uttered by the Holy Spirit. The proconsul was so impressed that he became a believer.

James 3:8 But no man can tame the tongue.

Psalm 141:3 Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips.

Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.

Did Ananias & Sapphire die because they lied about the money?

Acts 5:1 (KJV) But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphire his wife, sold a possession,

  1. And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles‘ feet. 3. But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, AND to keep back part of the price of the land? 4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. 5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. 6. And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him. 7  And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.  8. And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. 9. Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. 10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband. 11 And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

Did Ananias and Sapphire die because they lied about the money?

No. Verse 3 has the key word, AND. They died because they acted like they were Christians, when they were not.

Let me explain:

Peter and the apostles had a commune. Everyone lived together and they had one common purse. Acts 4:33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. To be a part of this commune you had to believe in the resurrection of Jesus.

Law verses Grace:

John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. John 5:45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.

Jesus fulfilled all the law, because of that we are under grace. The law is not disregarded, it was completed. If you go back now and put yourself under the law, it belittles the cross. If you put yourself under the law you will die. To receive salvation you must live under grace. The unpardonable sin is lying about your belief in the resurrection. If you believe in the resurrection, then you are under grace.

The law brings Death.

How was it that everyone in that commune lived in great grace? But when Ananias and Sapphira tried to join, they got law and death?  Ananias and Sapphira did not believe in the resurrection, this put them under the law. And when they lied about the money they got law and therefore death. Interesting side note, Sapphira comes from the word Sapphire. It is said that the 2 tablets of stone, containing the 10 commandments that Moses brought down from the Mountain were written on  Sapphire stone. This is a confirmation, that she was under the law.

Romans 7:7-9 what shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. 8. But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead. 9. For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.

They were Jews, therefore under the law.  If they had believed in the resurrection of Jesus, they would have received grace. They died because they were imposters of Christians and God knew they were not true believers. The lie about the money, is what got them caught in their lie, about their belief in the resurrection.

Question? Revelation 21:8 says all liars have their place in the Lake of fire. Answer: This is the second death. Not the first death.

Punch Line.

You can lie about your age, the color of your hair, your weight, what you got your spouse for Christmas, If you got the shot or not, even about your finances. Lying about your finances is just as silly as lying about the color of your hair. Just don’t lie about your belief in the resurrection.

1 Corinthians 15:12-14 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say we among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

A requirement to take Judas place, was to have witnessed the resurrection. Acts1:22 Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.

Simon wanted to buy the Holy Ghost. Acts 8:22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.

Peter told Simon that he would die. Acts 8:20, But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

Because your heart is not right in the sight of God Acts 8:21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.

The 7 sons of Sceva used the name of the Lord Jesus and Paul to exorcise evil spirits Acts 19:13 &14. Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. 14. And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.

The evil spirits didn’t know them Acts 19:15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?

The 7 sons of Sceva were attacked. It didn’t work Acts 19:16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

You see the 7 sons of Sceva didn’t believe in the resurrection.

Before the cock crew, Peter denied Jesus 3 times. Luke 22:31&32 Jesus prayed that Peter would keep the faith, be converted and strengthen the brethren. 31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. 2 Corinthians 11:8 (KJV) I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service. Yep that says Paul admitted to being a thief. Punch line. But he believed in the resurrection and didn’t lie about it.

This Present Unpleasantness

The Beast in Revelation
7 heads + 7 continents
10 horns = 10 men who run the United Nations

Revelation 17:10
1. George W Bush
2. Clinton
3. Bush Sr
4. Ronald Reagan
5. Carter
6. Ford
7. Nixon
At the time the Twin Towers fell these men were all alive.
This gives us a time frame.

Isaiah 30:25
And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of  waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.

Even when the Twin Towers in New York fell. God was still good to us.

Psalm 94:14
For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

Psalm 91 – The TV show Hogans Heroes was based on true history. It was from a movie called  “The Great Escape”. The story is of Keith Argrave. He used to recite Psalm 91 and was always  protected from harm.
We can do the same. (This is an example of faith in God. Not my canned goods in the basement,  iodide in my closet, gun in my purse, etc.)
Yes he carried a gun. Yes he was trained in warfare. But his faith was in God. Don’t let your  preparations become a Nehushtan. You can prepare if you want to. Just keep your faith in God.

Isaiah 30:18
And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be  exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all  they that wait for him.

Isaiah 31:1
Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because  they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy  One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!
It doesn’t really matter what our President does or does not do. (Politics) God is sovereign.

Daniel had a dream, a beast like a lion, a bear, a leopard, and a beast with ten horns. (The  United Nations is run by 10 men). There is a big fight. Daniel 7:18 But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.  Daniel 7: 27 And the kingdom and dominion and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole  heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is a everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. 7:28 This is the end of the  matter. So once again we read the last verse and we win!

I believe the next war, may be pockets of war here and there and pockets of people living in  relative peace. This is the Battle of Jehoshaphat. It would be nice if this next war was  another cold war. During the Cold War no shots were fired and still the Berlin Wall came down.  With God all things are possible. American troops liberated Kuwait in 100 hours during Desert Storm, this is unheard of.  This war started June 7, 1967.

Isaiah 30:15
For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in  quietness and in confidence shall be your strength:

After the Battle of Jehoshaphat comes Armageddon. This will be a release of 6 plagues.  We are presently already there. Cancer, Aids, Mrsa and Ebola, Corona and Delta. There might  be an overlap in time. We might be at the end of the Battle of Jehoshaphat, at the same time  we are at the beginning of Armageddon.

Isaiah 32:3
And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.

Daddy Warbucks came out on top after going through the depression in the movie Annie. We  can and will be victorious!

Isaiah 30:20 & 21
And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not  thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:
21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye  turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

What is God’s goal for us? To be ruled by a Theocracy. This is when every man is his own boss.  When every man hears from God, himself. Instead of using a mediator. (Preacher) Read about  this in the book of Judges.

The devil wants us to be ruled by a Caliphate. This is when you rat out your neighbor.

Isaiah 32:17 & 18
And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and  assurance for ever.
18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwelling, and in quiet  resting places:

Jesus gave us the great commission. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons, raise  the dead and preach that the Kingdom of God is at hand.
Matthew 10:7  The Kingdom of God is righteousness peace and joy.
Romans 14:17 Do not go around preaching that the sky is falling!

A lot of prophets go around teaching about the Phema camps, how bad the government is, this  conspiracy, that conspiracy, the Illuminati, the Bilderberg group, etc. That stuff may be true, a  lot of bad stuff may be on the horizon, maybe you can even see it. But we are not supposed to  dwell on that. Well what are we supposed to do?

According to Strong’s, this word confederacy could have been translated conspiracy:

Isaiah 8:12
Say ye not, A confederacy,(conspiracy) to all them to whom this people shall say, A  confederacy(conspiracy); neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.

Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest,  whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely,  whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on  these things.

Fear is not from the Lord, Don’t spread fear! If it is not from the Lord, than where is it from?  The opposite. Answer, the devil. There are a lot of verses in the Bible. Some prophecy a coming  war. But some prophecy winning that war. Focus on the winning.

2 Chronicles 22:21 – 23
And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that  should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went our before the army, and to say, Praise the  LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever.
22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children  of Amon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.
23 For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly  to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhaitants of Seir, every one  helped to destroy another.

All we have to do is sing and wait on the Lord the bad guys will kill each other. Like in the battle  of Jehoshaphat.

and,

Isaiah 30:29
Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as  when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the LORD, to the mighty One of Israel.

Jeremiah 15:11
The LORD said, Verily it shall be well with thy remnant; verily I will cause the  enemy to entreat thee well in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.

Jeremiah 14:20 & 21
And I will make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall  fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee to save thee and to  deliver thee, saith the LORD.
21 And I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand  of the terrible.

Jeremiah 30:4
And these are the words that the LORD, spake concerning Israel and concerning  Judah.
5 For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace.
6 Ask ye now,and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man  with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?
7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; BUT HE  SHALL BE SAVED OUT OF IT.
8 For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I WILL BREAK HIS YOKE  FROM OFF THY NECK, AND WILL BURST THY BONDS, and strangers shall no more serve  themselves of him:
9 BUT THEY SHALL SERVE THE LORD THEIR GOD, AND DAVID THEIR KING, (Jesus) WHOM I WILL  RAISE UP UNTO THEM.
10 THEREFORE FEAR THOU NOT, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O  Israel: for, lo, I WILL SAVE THEE FROM AFAR, AND THY SEED FROM THE LAND OF THEIR  CAPTIVITY; and Jacob shall return, AND SHALL BE IN REST, AND BE QUIET, AND NONE SHALL  MAKE HIM AFRAID.
11 For I am with thee, saith the LORD, TO SAVE THEE; though I make a full end of all nations  whither I have scattered thee, YET WILL I NOT MAKE A FULL END OF THEE;

I want to tell you about Paul…

I want to tell you about Paul. Paul was married to Eunice, her mother was Lois. He talks nice about them. He had a brother named Epaphroditus. Together Paul and Eunice had children. The Bible mentions 3. I think Timotheus is the long form of Timothy, so we have Timothy and Titus and Onesimus. Maybe more but that is all that I can find at this time.

TIMOTHY

1 Timothy 1:2  Unto Timothy, MY OWN SON, in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 Timothy 1:18  This charge I commit unto thee, SON TIMOTHY, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare.

2 Timothy 1:2  To Timothy, MY DEARLY BELOVED SON: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

2 Timothy 2:1  Thou therefore, MY SON, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 2:19  But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you

Philippians 2:21  But ye know the proof of him, that, AS A SON WITH THE FATHER, he hath served with me in the gospel. (This refers to the above verse)

TITUS

Titus 1:4  To Titus, MINE OWN SON after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.

ONESIMUS

Philemon 10  I beseech thee for MY SON ONESIMUS, whom I have begotten in my bonds. Verse 12  Whom I have sent again: thou therefore receive him, that is, MINE OWN BOWELS.

Paul was in, in house arrest. Paul’s wife Eunice came to visit him. Paul was in bonds. Paul was very glad to see his wife, and showed it, and they had a little surprise, several years after the older ones had grown. Onesimus. Eunice went to see Paul because she wanted to; no one made her make that trip. I believe Paul and Eunice were very much in love.

My biological father was also my spiritual father. He was the one that led me in the salvation prayer when I was 5 years old. Because we are on the same mission, this makes him my brother in spirit. The same goes for Paul and his family.

Philemon 16:  Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, BOTH IN THE FLESH, AND IN THE LORD?

Paul was responsible for Onesimus’s bills. He said he wouldn’t even squabble over the amount.

Philemon 18:  If he hath wronged thee, or oweth thee ought, put that on mine account; 19   I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides.

WIFE & MOTHER-IN-LAW

2 Timothy 1:7  When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.

That sounds to me like he is proud of his wife and her mom.

BROTHER

Philippians 2:25  Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you EPAPHRODITUS, MY BROTHER, and companion in labour,

Some of Paul’s letters are addressed like this.

Romans 1:7  To all that be in Rome

1 Corinthians 1:2 Unto the church of God which is a Corinth

Galatians 1:2 unto the churches of Galatia

Ephesians 1:1 to the saints which are at Ephesus

Philippians 1:1 to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi

Colossians 1:2 To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse:

Do you see? When Paul writes to a group of people, he addresses them that way. But when he writes to or speaks about a family member, he addresses them that way.

Sometimes a family member goes to that church. For example:

Thessalonians 1:1  Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 1:1  and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth,

THORN

2 Corinthians 12:7  And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

The church teaches this thorn is his eyesight.  I don’t think it was his eyesight because. Saul was struck blind by a bright light from heaven.

Acts 9:8  And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.

Ananias prayed for Saul and he was healed!

Acts 9:18  And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.

I believe this was a good and complete healing, to say that Paul’s thorn was his eyesight, diminishes his healing miracle.

FYI Saul and Paul is the same guy.

Acts 13:9  Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost,

I think his thorn was either guilt for all the Christians he had tortured and killed when he was Saul or, his church. His church put him in prison several times. He was shipwrecked because of his government and arrested and put in jail. And finally killed by his government. The church had him arrested by his government.

LOVE,
